Not precise fitting some force needed to insert hopper.
I ordered this product after realizing that the hopper on the A-5 is somewhat in the way from regular view. Also I ordered this with the bigger hopper upgrade, so I knew a 330 round hopper would obstruct my view even more than the factory loader. This offset is well made and adds even more paintballs to your hopper (approx. 18 more)
No I dont use a sight on my gun...I think their useless although I have never tried one. This offset opens up your view considerably and when in a fierce battle you need all you can get. It doesnt tilt so much that the gravity fed hopper wont work ...but just enough for a perfect balance.
The only problem I see with this product is that I had to literally force my hopper into it....It took a little presuasion for it to go...but after the first time ...I have had no problems since...
This upgrade is not essential to the A-5 by any means...but it looks cool and has some major advantages.
1. Sight is increased....especially if using a stock.
2. Ball count in hopper is increased by 18...not much but you never know when that might save you.
3. A must have if your looking to buy a larger capacity hopper...I recommend the 330 loader.
4. Lastly ...it just looks cool.
What do you have to lose....Its pretty cheap...I got mine for under $20 w/shipping....
Ill give it a 10/10 just because it works great.
Drastically Improved Sight
This hopper really improves the line of sight looking down the barrel, regardless of whether you use the stock MP5 style sights, a specialized sight, or even if you just "point and shoot". You can actually see down the barrel and approximately 3 cm off to the right side, which makes it much easier to sight a target, especially in snap shooting. I noticed that I my line of sight before using the original hopper setup was restricted in an approximately 25 degree clockwise arc; with this installed, you are able to get a clear line of site on your ever important frontal arc (~60 degrees).
It is not hard to load on this angle; I rarely reload during a game anyways, but it is not complicated or difficult.
One thing I noticed about this product out of the box is that it is VERY sturdy. It is welded aluminum (the tack marks being very noticeable, but it still looks awesome. The entire unit is a very dark black, which I was pleased to see.
This offset increases your capacity by about 20 balls. It does increase the weight of your setup somewhat, but that can be expected with another piece of metal and some more balls.
The only downside to this product is that it is very tight compared to the hopper intended for it. It fits fine into the cyclone, but you need to really force the hopper into it. It shaved off some of the hopper cylinder and squat the square knob, which does not matter much if you are using the stock hopper. However, if you are using an R5 (never used myself), you may be better off sanding down some of the offset's interior.
Before you buy a fancy sight or rail for your A5 (or cycloned 98), get this product. It allows you to fully use the stock sights that may have been neglected prior to its installation.
There is some room for improvement, as it does not fit entirely correctly, but still an awesome product. This could be fixed with a small adjustment during manufacturing.
Make this the first upgrade for your A5!!!

Tippman A5, E-Trigger, Blackcell barrel, BSA sight, etc.
Makes room for scope or sights. Looks cool.
Certain hopper(s) will not fit on it.
My ricochet hopper would not fit into the offset. The stock Tippman hopper was a really tight fit. I ended up modding the Ricochet to make it fit and forcing it in with some DW40. :) All in all, it does the job. However, to me, it makes the marker feel off-balance. When the hopper is full, the gun feels like it's tilting to the right. Maybe that's just me. Also, it doesn't seem to fit snug into the A5's cyclone feeder. I had to push out part of the metal with a screwdriver so it would stay locked in the feeder.
Cheap way to make room for adding a scope or sight. But you might have some issues making it fit right with the marker. Maybe mine was just defective.

It works. What else can be said they set out to make a product that would clear ur sight line and they did just that. Personly I think They could have dome beter to make it more of a "off set" but by no means is it a bad product. I recomend it as a perfect fix to any of your sight problems.
Get it if u need it. If u dont theres no need for it.
