Redz Ultimate Gear Bag, Jt Rolling SUV
Marker Setup: PM5, '06 Cyborg
Strengths: Large. Some great side pockets. Nice venting. Great wheels, easy handling.
Weaknesses: No retractable handle. Not much you can change to your needs.
Review: OK, here's the GOOD:
Top half: Good padding for the markers, with velcro straps to them in place. Wheels are great. Nice that you can unzip half of it and it turns into a backpack., very large and long though.
Comes with lock for main compartment zipper (nice touch by DYE). Can hold 3 markers in padding, one with a tank. Two separate zipper areas for barrels and a few other items. Nice padded goggle compartment. A few pass-throughs from compartment to compartment. Real heavy duty material, best I have seen for a bag! You will hard time ripping this bag!

The bottom half: Is great for your cloths and shoes. The shoe compartment has a lining similar to tarp, more heavy though. Very nice there. There is also a "cloth" lining that can be removed in the cloths area for washing, good touch. Also has the nice clip like a suite case to keep your cloths in place during travel. In that same area, some zippers in plastic hard mesh, one large and two small. They are flat so I don't what use they would have for string issues.

The BAD:
No retracting handle for wheeling around. BIG miss there. Still easy to handle, but better with a retractable handle.
You can not customize your compartments. Big downer there.
No where to put a "tool box" unless you use the bottom half where you would put you cloths. That's the only place it would fit. If your like me and play serious, you have to have a tool box and multiple trips back to the car isn't something you want to do!
No pod storage unless you use the cloths dept. again!
You need a 4' X 4' area to open it up when you have to get ing to the bottom half for your shoes, tools, gloves, ect. Staging areas aren't big and you have 7-9 other guys gear bags to contend with. Not good.
When empty, the bag weights 20LBS! Only leaves you 30LBS to play with or your gear when you have to fly. Most airlines charge about 25-50$ for luggage over 50LBS. Some airlines wont take bags over 75LBS either. So, after adding everything I have, it weighs in at 68LBS.

Conclusion: Overall:
Good bag for what you need. Heavy. Not customizable. Some great features and innovation. This bag is not for everyone. If your a local tourney player, this would be great for you.
If you travel for tourneys, this may not be for you. The weight is a major issue and you would have to comprimise some of the areas for what they are not intended to be used as.

Strengths: Well put together and that dye quality weve come to expect.
Weaknesses: No telescoping handle to pull along. Very big bag if your a small person.
Review: I cant imagine going to any tourney without my navigator. iIcan carry everything i need and more to the tourney. Theres a seperate pocket for everything you need. A pocket for shoes w/ vents for it to air out. Pockets for pods and hoppers. a seperate pocket for your mask that is well padded. 3 gun compartments that allow you to store one gun w/ tank still attached. The best part is its a 2 piece luggage system that allows you to store your clothes on the bottom. the top piece turns into a big back pack. Dye has outdone themselves w/ this one. Hopefully the 07 will have a telescopic handle incorporated. Other than that its pretty much the only bag you will need for the next upcoming tourney.
Conclusion: Its worth the money you pay compared to the leading gearbags out there. If you want style, comfort, and quality. this is the bag to get.

Review: Bag came in mail and it was in the biggest box. I said wow that is a big bag opened it up and it was all compressed so it took me like 20 mins to get it all puffed up. Then I said to myself wow I have to get some more gear. After I got used to it its pretty cool. Fold down compartments in case you nees to fit bigger gear or if you dont put the seperaters up and every thing stays where you put it. In mine I have 45 4500 tank, velocity jr hopper,an 06 alien,an 04 angel speed, all tools, swabs, like 6 barrels,my pants, jersey, gloves, cleats, my dye c5 attack pack, 6 dye lock lids, barrel bags, gun manuals. digital camera, hand held chrono. and I know theres more in there. This is all in there with the seperators up if they were down you could probably fit more. Put it this way I put my 400 dollar digital camera in the bottom of the bag and it does not have anything crushing it even when its standing up. padding keeps every thing were you put it. so no more scratched gear from every thing being crammed into a back pack.only weakness is you have to seperate the two halfs just to get to your gear and cleats
Conclusion: Buy it if you have more gear than 3 people normally do. If not theres always room for more gear when you get it.
