Well, I wanted my Ion to stand out from the pack, so I decided to try the ANS Razor body. I thought it had a great, sharp vicious look to it. The body arrive in a great plastic tube protecting it from the abuse of shipping. After removing it, I was pleased with the smoothness of the milling and the nice dust black finish. It was flawless, so I thought.
I disassembled my Ion, installed all of my upgrades that I had been stock piling and as directed by the included instructions, installed my new body. As I started tightening the trigger frame to the body, I realized that it was not fitting. There was a an 1/8" gap between the frame and body and the body slid back and forth freely 1/4". I removed everything, made sure everything else was installed correctly, reassembled and still, same problem. I even went back to everything stock, body still no fit. Replaced with stock body shell and everything was fine. The body simply did not fit.
Now some people get upset when you consider customer service into a review and rating, but to me, that is a very important part of the product that I am buying. If I have a problem with a company's items, I expect them to stand behind it. Well, that was the farthest thing from the truth with ANS. I attempted several times to contact and no response. So to me, a company that can't take care of it's customers is a company I will not recommend or deal with again. |

Looks awesome.
Purely cosmetic, no performance upgrade.

Whats there to say, looks good can get them pretty cheap. Wanna turn heads? Here yu go. I really love the mills marks personally, compared to the stock ion body there is just no competion. However there are other ion bodys out there that you should look at and carfully make a good choice. |

I hate to be a follower, so to stick out a little is nice for me. Just check it out.
Give it a 9 because nothing is perfect. |

This came on my dad's Ion. It looks pretty cool. There isn't any real performance upgrade at all. It's also pretty heavy for a body. The milling is pretty cool, but nothing amazing. Word word word word word word word word word word word word word. (I don't get this requirement) |
