Overall I was very impressed with this marker. TheMagSmith.com redesigned it for 2006 and improved several things. They added a RPG Sub-Zero Clamping Feedneck, RPG Foregrip, and a RPG Recon Rail which is lighter than the previous Sleeper Rail. They had already removed the unsightly(in my opinion)stock rails and given it a sleek look. The finish is excellent and TheMagsmith.com's parts are better anodized than the parts made by Air Gun Designs. The performance was the best I have ever seen. My experience with high-end markers is limited, but this marker performed as well as or better than a stock Bushmaster B2K4. The price is a little high, but you do get what you pay for. The quality of all the parts is superb. The one problem I had was that the Level 10 anti-chop bolt was not properly tuned by theMagSmith.com, and I had a problem with bolt stick. The addition of a shim quickly resolved the problem. I think the gun had broken in and come out of tune when I gassed it up. It works great now, but I may try to make the Level 10 softer now by retuning it. So far I love the way it feels and shoots, but I can not walk it without short stroking it. Even without walking it, I can shoot it as fast(or almost) as my eforce Piranha or my friend's (broken) Bushmaster. I will update this review after I have more information.
Edit: After first game with it
I have played my first game with the marker. It was simply amazing. It was invigorating. The marker performed flawlessly and felt good in my hands. It is a huge improvement over the Piranha SRT that I used to play with. It just felt more natural to play with. Its performance on the field was excellent as well. It was far more consistent than the other markers there(the only other high-end marker was a phantom however) and shot well even with paint that was too small for the barrel kit. I hope to use it again soon. |

| Conclusion: |
I highly recommend this to anyone who whats an automag or a mechanical gun.The stripped down version (Paradigm Classic 06-it is alot like the original Paradigm Pro seen in the pictures above) is the best deal for a mag out there. I give it a 10, because, for me, it is perfect. |

| Review: |
So after discovering Automags and falling in love with them, I put away the A-5 forever and wen't shopping. After looking at the AGD website I decided that it would cost me several hundred more to buy a ULE Custom and upgrade it to a Paradigm Pro than it would to just go the The Mag Smith and buy one direct. So I did.
The first thing that happened was I got an email form their customer service. When ordering, I had also ordered an o-ring kit for a Classic Automag. I bought it for a friend of mine. The guy at Themagsmith.com wanted to be sure I wasn't going to get something I didn't want. I assured him I did want the kit, but was blown away how thorough they were. He also mentioned I ordered a CP ASA but no drop forward. I told him I already had a drop forward, and thanked him again for making sure I hadn't forgotten it.
Once I got it, I found it to be the best gun I've ever shot hands down. It's blazing fast, very quiet, and looks so nice I get a lot of people asking about it.
The only draw to it is that you must be the type of player who likes to tinker with their gun. If you just want to have a gun that you don't know how to disassemble, then this isn't for you. If you like to know your gun inside and out and have no qualms learning how it works, then the Paradigm Pro or any other X-valve Mag is the gun for you. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
The Paradigm Pro is by far the best mechanical gun I've ever shot. Every feature you could ever want in a high end marker is on it. The Reg is top notch. The bolt is the best out there. The trigger pull is short and light (comparable to many electro's I've used). |
