Strengths: -Quiet*
-ACCURATE AS HECK*
-Adds distance*
-Breaks a ball once in about 500 shots*
Weaknesses: wrong sized o-ring
you break a ball you're screwed, squeegie it GOOD
Review: Mine came with the wrong sized o-ring, but i got that fixed. I broke a ball and i had to squeegie it about 3 times back and forth, but it very RARELY breaks balls. I also added at least 25 ft to my distance. And it shut my gun up so the whole world wouldn't here when i shot.(ya, i know i exaggerated)But my gun is way quiet now and it is FREAKIN ACCURATE.
THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST ACCURATE BARRELS IVE SEEN. The flatline barrel is a little better when it comes to distance.

But my barrel looked a little different than the picture at the top.
Conclusion: A GREAT barrel. espescially for the price. i reccomend getting this barrel IT ROCKS

stock barrel- ok, but doesnt compare to this.
CMI Tru-flight- loud, chops alot, inaccurate
J&J ceramic- about the same, better reputatoin, and as far as i can tell it shoots te same as this.
Marker Setup: VL Orion
Custom realtree camoflauge setup
9 oz. c02
14" PMI razzor <or> 8' custom ported stock barrel( speedball)
VL 200
Recommended
Paintballs:
Draxxus Dusks
Any pro paint
afterburners
Strengths: relatively cheap
quiet
VERY accurate
Weaknesses: the occasional chop( 1 / 2000)
SOMETIMES, the ball curves a little ( 1 outa 200)
Review: This is a great barrel for the price. The accuracy of it is amazing, and it will silence the loud pop that your gun makes from a stock barrel. No balls break in this barrel, but if you chop a ball on the bolt, then you'd better get a squegee, this barrel doenst self-clean itself. I like it, its a good barrel for a lower price. Great range too, i gogged a guy from 80+ feet the other day.
Conclusion: I highly suggest this barrel. And mine looked nothing like the picture above, but the one in the picture is a 12", mine is the 14'. I really like this barrel, and it has been a well-worth-it upgrade from my stock barrel.

Strengths: Sturdy, and very accurate, price
Weaknesses: None, really the barrel is very nice
Review: This barrel is cheap and it does the job just as good as any other barrel on the market. I have used high end two pieces and kits. This barrel is excellent with the right paint. The best part about that is that every paint seems to be the right one. If you are trying to sneak up on someone, the barrel is a little loud, but it is efficiently ported. Excellent construction.
Conclusion: Buy it if you don't have a new barrel.

any kind will do just fine rps do best though so far
Strengths: Pretty accurate, nice look, nice smooth inner barrel
Weaknesses: Not really too many not super accurate but itll do
Review: Id have to say this is a pretty nice barrel for only 44 bucks or cheaper depending where u get it. Fits nicely on Tippmanns except little logo thing doesnt always line up right. The smooth inner barrel lets the ball fly and keeps it relativly accurate. I havent done precise testing. Ive only tested it in my back yard shooting at a back board. Ive used it in about 10 games and it seems to perform well. Not very fun to clean while out in the field i find the best way it too clean it with a hose after the game if a ball pops and squeegying the water out. Very nice porting and it seems to make the gun quieter which is good for a tippmann cause there so loud. Ive pegged many friends with this barrel from concealed locations i wouldnt recommend anything shorter than a 14" for it though. 12 would be too small in my opion. I would deffinately recommend this barrel for any just starting or in need of a better barrel than there stock one. The black finish wont give you away either which is nice.

*2005 season*edited part: still the most accurate barrel i own the 22" whatever barrek it is for 35 bucks wasnt worth it i still use the 5 inch black part and my stock icon barrel screwd into that but i just realized how innaccurate it is hopefully ill have a jandj ceramic soon and a barrel adapter for my tippy so i can use it on both its funny something as good as j&j will cost me as much as this barrel did but i still like this one so go out and buy it if ur a fan of PMI stuff oh and its very durable scratchs easy i dont know what ud call easy ive dropped mine on a concrete padeo like 5 times on accident and its not scratched too bad so hell its pretty durable
Conclusion: I would have to say this is a pretty nice barrel .Like i said in the review i would recommend it to anyone just starting out or in need of a barrel better than there stock one. and its nice and cheap for anyone whose on a budget.

Review: I just got this barrel for my VL Triad. It is an improvement over the stock barrel by a lot. This barrel made my gun a little quieter. I haven't had a break yet with the Scorch Paintballs.
This barrel is very accurate if you aim right. This barrel is good for the price overall
Conclusion: Overall this barrel is a good barrel and is cheap to buy.

Tippman 98 Custom - While it isn't bad for a stock barrel, it cannot compare to an aftermarket Barrel

DYE Boomstick/Ultralite - I had to test these out, just to see how good the actually are. They are amazing, but cost anywhere from 2-3 times more than the Razzor.
Marker Setup: Tippmann 98 Custom
Inline Expansion Chamber
14" PMI Razzor Barrel
32* Coiled Remote
20oz PMI Co2
Point Sight (during small games)

Paintballs:
All I've ever used is I-balz and Draxxus Rec-Sport. The Draxxus work alot better, obviously.
Strengths: - Cheap
- Availible
- Accurate
- Adds minimal range
- Not bright chrome
Weaknesses: - Loud
- May not be as good as other barrels of near price
Review: I needed another barrel for my 98 Custom, and I didn't want to spend $120 on a Boomstick. I was, and am, on a budget, and only play for recreation. I had been trying various barrels out at my local store, and I found the Razzor to give the most bang for my buck.

Compared to the more expensive barrels, it wasn't as good. But, it stood right up there with the Teardrop and J&J Ceramic, and certainly was better than the stock 8". It improves accuracy by alot, and even adds a few feet to the effective range of the gun. It is, however, loud. It's not as loud as the stock barrel, but it's noiser than most barrels. This isn't a thing that hinders me, too much, however.

The barrel is widely availible, cheap, and made for most barrel threads. Also, it isn't bright color like some barrels are, which can give you away during woodsball.

(A note here, my barrel does not look like the one pictured above. No idea why.)
Conclusion: I'd like to give this a really high score, but nothing is perfect, and it's not the best aftermarket barrel around. However, if you don't want to spend too much on one, it's a great thing to consider.

Review: Over all its sweet very straight and for the price, you cant beat it!. the holes on the end of the barrel give the ball spin to make it fly farther it prolly added 50ft to my shot! and alot more acuracey!! everyone like acuracey. well at least i do!
Conclusion: Buy it its cheap and its Well worth it and straight as a arow!

Strengths: Accurate tight patern after, light, Looks good, and it is only $40 one of the nicest barrel i have seen for so cheap, and it shoots really far. I like to sniper and i have done great with it so far.
Weaknesses: it will break a ball once in a while but it does not effect the shooting that much so the ball breaks dont matter to much
Conclusion: It works really good on the model 98 custom and if you have a 98 then i reccamend t you that you get this gun. I have only played in the woods and dont now if it works great in speedball or in anything else

Strengths: It has no strengths!!! This thing sucks!!!
Weaknesses: VERY innaccurate
Easily bent
Paint chips very easily
Very loud
Review: This barrel is the worst barrel I have ever seen!!! I used Marballizers, All-Stars, and Evil paint with this barrel and even this quality paint was extremely innaccurate. I couldn't hit a basketball from 20 feet with this barrel. A Brass Eagle Blade 2 is more accurate than this barrel. This is by far the worst item I have ever used in all of my paintball experience. I've returned the barrel four times and swapped it for another so, if it's just a defect, most of them are defective.
Conclusion: I would never recommend this product to anyone. This barrel is the worst barrel I've ever encountered. The stock barrels on every gun I've ever fired are much more accurate than 5 of these barrels I've tried. Too bad I can't give it a 0!!!

Weaknesses: A Bit Heavy

Review: I've been using this barrel about two months after I started paintball, and since I haven't been able to afford a new gun, I have used the same Spyder and this barrel, and it hasn't failed me at all. The accuracy I've gotten off this barrel has amazed me greatly, for the relatively low price I paid. However, the one problem I've become aware of majorly (the weight is something I'm used to, I use a Spyder) is the tendency of the barrel to quickly become dirty with oil and the occasional break.
Conclusion: I would use it as a beginner or intermediate, but once you get into higher playing, buy a higher-grade barrel.
