Well, I think I'll break this up into categories starting at the top.
Visor:
Well, this thing finally broke off after about 50 hits to it. It doesn't really do anything except make it look better. All the visor is, is, just a piece of plastic. It will break off if it gets it just right or up close. I took my mask outside after I got my I3's and started shooting at it. I had strings of ropes flying at that thing and finally the visor had 1 peg broken. I have yet to completely break it off.
Lense:
Well, the lense is just that, a lense. It gets dirty really easy and is hard to clean off. I can't see through it at all. It fogs up really easy and well, you just don't need that in a firefight. I shot strings at it again and so far, it is still holding up pretty well. The lense seems like it is made of plastic so it will break somethime.
Head Strap:
Well, it's just a head strap. Nothing more. Nothing less. It is adjustable which is good because I have a big head, but it won't fit on my friend's head. So it doesn't fit on small heads. It has a wavy sticky lines on the back to get a good grip with I guess.
Ear Shields:
They are just plastic ear shields. No padding at all. Which is why I'm happy that I don't use this mask anymore. They are very hard to clean because they have a lot of knooks and crannies. I unloaded on it and used a water hose to get the paint and shells out of it.
Foam:
It has some stiff foam in it. My I3's have a lot better foam that works a whole lot better, but thats expected. They do protect you when the ball hits the mask but thats about it. They soak the sweat up good, too, which is good if you sweat a lot.
Bottom Part:
The bottom part has good venting I must say. I unloaded on it and paint got through it which isn't good because it tastes horrible. It is plastic so you will not get any bounces. You will have a lot of room down in the bottom part which is good and the massive amount of venting helps with cooling you down and yelling across the field.
Overall:
Overall, this mask is pretty bad. But it gets the job done. It protects your eyes, ears, and neck which are some of the key areas to protect. You will not get any bounces off of this mask but some people can get over that. I can't.
|
 |
| Conclusion: |
I give this mask a 3 because it protects the 3 most crucial things to protect on your head. |

| Strengths: |
Cheap, tough |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
Uncomfortable (compared to a quality mask), single lens, slide down bad, ugly, big target! |
 |
| Review: |
I got a pair for $10 on-line for my friends to use when we're out woodsballin'. These are OK for that purpose but I WOULD NOT get them to use regularly. THESE ARE JUST EXTREME RAGE RENTAL X-RAY goggles. You can see all kinds of reviews for these, look under "rental X-Ray". |
 |
| Conclusion: |
You can get these very cheap, but remember, you get what you pay for. For goggles you loan out to your friends, they're fine. Look elsewhere for your own set of goggles. |

| Review: |
Well lets start off saying this mask makes your head the easiest target because it so huge. Its really uncomfortable. It kept on rubbing my face and slipping down on me. The paint comes straight through the mouth piece and paint dont taste to good. The lense fogged up. This mask really made me miss my Dye invision. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Dont buy this. The only reason I got one was because the damn thing came with my wifes marker I bought her. |

| Strengths: |
It allows you to play... you cant play with out a mask =/ |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
Hard Plastic
Pain to clean
fairly ugly IMO
Fogs really easily |
 |
| Review: |
K first off, i hate to clean this thing, its so hard to get it perfectly clear
also the lens scratches easily.
the plastic is hard plastic so even if you get skimmed on the side of the face with the crappiest paint it still breaks,
its a little heavier than other masks,
Visor just makes things harder to clean
My recomended way to clean- get a bucket with cleaning solution... and dunk it in there and swish it around and let it air dry, even then its alright but still not desirable
the breating holes are huge, so when you get shot in the face you taste the paint |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I personally would get it if you already have one, i think this is like the lowest grade mask you can get, really its just awful there really are no strengths other than the basics of the mask |
