Strengths: - Accurate
- Very easy to clean and install
- 14 inchs is perfect for indoor and outdoor
- cheap in comparison to a Dye Boomstick, and has alot of the boomsticks qualities.
- Gives you a fair range increase
Weaknesses: - Its not as quiet as people think it is. Compared to a boomstick its really quite loud
- Has some sharp edges. Ive bled because of this barrel. hehe
Conclusion: I use this on my tippmann custom 98, with a responce trigger, and it works great. Ive never broken paint yet, and I shoot fast. Its a 14 inch barrel and I play indoor and outdoor with it, and it does fine. The barrel is pretty loud, but is just as accurate and gives as much range as a boomstick. I would recommend this barrel to anyone who loves fire fights. This is not a barrel for snipers. I love using this barrel. Well worth the price. Happy hunting.

Paintball
Experience:
2 years
Strengths: cheap
2 piece
Weaknesses: isnt very accurate
not very good range
Review: my friend has this on his tippmann. i dont like it. the silver part is so bright it gives a glint off the sun. it only comes in 14 inch. it has a big bore size, which isnt bad if you like that size paint but i wouldnt use it. from when i used this barrel it didnt chop anything throughout the entire game. why do they say it can compare with DYE boomsticks? this is about average for a barrel. the price is right and its kinda accurate but its no boomstick.
Conclusion: dont get this barrel. its not a bad barrel, just theres better things for the price.

Strengths: I like it beacause it shot very accurate for the price tag but i also had some paint problems (read bleow) but even with those problems it shot straight and i have never broke a ball in it.......
Weaknesses: my fields paint was too small for the barrel and it rolled through the barrel every time my gun cocked (autococker) so i dont want to be loosing paint or loosing gas efficeincy because the paint is too small
Conclusion: im trying to sell it so if u want it just e-mail me i just need a small bore barrel i wish this barrel had different sizes!!!! i gave it an 8 because im sure with matching paint it would work great

Strengths: awesome barrel... deadly at any range.... quiet as all hell.. havent found anything wrong with it yet
Weaknesses: sometime hard to find the right sized paint.... try rp or diablo
Conclusion: used this on my spyder for a while thanks to my buddy and its freaking awesome...the accuracy and quietness of this barrel is deadly.... we play on a speedball field and that we made at my buddies house and i have threaded a 2 inch square at 100 feet.... i have threaded three holes that size from 50 feet.... this barrel is awesome.... i use it on my tricked spyder.....

Strengths: Cheap and good performance are definately two things I'd say about this barrel. The first day I took it to the field everyone thought it was a new dye barrel. I use it on my Piranha STS G2 and all the people at the range with spyders and piranhas were fitting it to thier markers. Most of them where very impressed, except, of course, the people who'd spent the extra money for a boomstick. It also takes medium bore paint, which is great coz I use mostly rp premium or marbs
Weaknesses: Loud! No good trying to skulk around in bush play with this coz after one shot everyone on the field knows where you are. Thats no proplem for tyre fields or sup air fields when you're playing speedball. otherwise there ain't nothing wrong, 'cept the cheap players who use big ole fat paint are likely to get more paint sticking in the barrel
Conclusion: I used the 14 inch barrel (i don't know if there are other lengths available) on a piranha sts g2. any medium bore paint should do okay in it, and maybe some of the better quality large bore paint. It is definately worth saving the extra bucks instead of buying a boomstick and spending the money on a reg or something. I did compare it to a boomstick once, and the results were pretty similar. I definately reccommend this to anyone who wants a boomstick but can't afford it.

Paintballs:

Strengths: Semi-accurate, semi quiet, and it has a good length for rec.
Weaknesses: Comes loose after shooting half a hopper and not very good for speed ball.
Review: This barrel is ok. The good things about this barrel is its pretty cheap, pretty good for rec, 2 peice, kind of quiet and kind of accurate. I have this barrel on my Tippmann model 98 custom RP. It works pretty well with the gun this barrel makes the gun a lot mare quiet and accurate compared to the stock barrel and its priced just right. Its for the most part a rec barrel but its not the best barrel for rec either its only semi-accurate and semi-quiet so there are better barrels for rec. The bad things about this barrel is that it comes loose after shooting about half a hopper (100 rounds), only comes in one size 14in., and its not very good for speed ball. It bugs because your in the middle of a game and the barrel falls off or you can't pay attention to the game because your making sure that it doesn't come off. Its too long for speed ball and only comes in one sizes of you can't get a smaller one and you can't keep making sure its not falling off in the middle of the game. It wouldn't be the best barrel for a backman either because its not extremely accurate.
Conclusion: I would recomend this barrel only to newbies who have tippmanns. Because it has a good price and is a big upgrade from the stock barrel.

Just stock Barrels so far
Marker Setup: Blue Spyder Xtra all stock 4 now, VL 12 volt Revvy, PMI 14" Razor Barrel, I plan to get a SP tear drop barrel and a 20 oz tank.

Paintballs:
Prolly any good paint will do. BE paint and small bore paint dont do to well
Strengths: Accuracy is ok
Cheap $45
Weaknesses: Doesnt match the color on my spyder
Not much better than my stock
Review: I got this barrel to get an improvement on accuracy on my spyder. Plus it was cheap. Its accuracy is ok its not as good as some ppl say it is. Or maybe cuz the stock barrel on Xtras are all ready pretty good. All i know is that my stock barrel on my old procarbine sucked anus. It doesnt have sharp edges that i heard alot of ppl talk about. maybe they're talking about the multi-metal barrel. I couldnt find a barrel color to match mygun so it kinda looks awkward. but hey it was dirt cheap so i guess you gotta trade sumthin off.
Conclusion: Its ok as a stock barrel maybe, but i would recoment saving up a lil extra money and buying a tear drop or all american.

Marker Setup: an upgraded piranha g2 vtl, a 2002 rebel, and a tippmann model 98 custom........
Recommended
Paintballs:
RP sherer, JT, almost anything...stay away from zapp and brasseagle though
Strengths: -long
-acurate
-fits on a variety of markers
-looks cool
-hasnt chopped but my friend's gun doesnt chop anyway..........
-makes your gun get better range
Weaknesses: -not really 2 piece (or they screwed it on so hard that NONE of us could get it apart)
-sharp....the edges will cut you
-why do they make 1 side of it silver? it should be 1solid color...
-not good for rec................works great for speedball though
-unscrews from the marker after 1 GAME of playing i dont mean 1 day at paintball, just 1 game, just like all the other razzor barrels...
-kinda loud
Conclusion: i would get the 1 piece barrels that are just like these....they dont chop and they look cooler and there a lot cheaper....these barrels are WAY overpriced and there not nearly as good at the other razzor ones so thats why im giving it an 8. buy it if your rich (like my friend who bought the damned thing and wouldnt shut up about how good his tippy model 98 response trigger was with this barrel and his fully auto piranha)

Paintballs:
Anything it won't totally slice up
Strengths: Not a lot, but it looks pretty kool and could be a handy weapon if you break it in 2 (you can use the edges and a knife, it's pretty sharp so it could work)

And it lives up to it's name....theres a reason why they call it the razzor...it'll chop stuff!
Weaknesses: It chopped almost everthing I put through it! EVEN ME (OUCH) absolutely, insanely sharp on the edges, i cut my fingers 3 friggin times!! I don't know why it says that this barrel compares to a Boomstick, a boomstick dosent freakin try to kill you! People with this barrel, you better have really good life insurance. In fact they should have a section on the reviews for this barrel: Reccomended Life Insurance.
Conclusion: Mine was reallly bad, i don't know why, but it worked better on my friends Rebel Xtreme than my Piranha.....weird, but anyways, I'm reviewing this gun based on my experience with it, maybe I got a really bad one, i have no idea. But the only real good thing I can say about this barrel is that it cut the face of someone breaking into my house (the only reason why I kept it) well anyway, no offense to other owners of this barrel. I'm giving it a 3 for saving all my precious valuables from the guy who broke in.
