Naughty Dogs "Team" Edition Shocker!

The Naughty Dog shocker gives way to sleek muscular lines, swept back features and finely cut scallops that continue our tradition of style but not affect functionality. This isn't your ordinary Shocker; it has been completely redesigned from the ground up. The Dogs Shocker is built on Smart Parts Shocker "NXT" plat form. Smart Parts looked at every component on there previous Shocker design and improved on every aspect.

Below are the New Features:

Break Beam Vision - The latest and most reliable anti-chop Vision technology is fully incorporated into the Naughty Dogs Shocker body with no external wires or wire covers running from the grip to the eyes.

Integrated Air Rail - Loose the drop forward and even the rail adapter. The integrated rail system allows 3/8" inch dovetail air system accessories to mount directly to the grip frame, or use traditional inline mounting screws.

Rail Mounted on/off ASA - Positive air system control means longer o-ring and solenoid life. The easy to clean and rebuild design means a lifetime
of reliable operation.

Feature Packed Grip Frame - A built in snatch grip and expanded trigger guard with huge finger space are complimented by threaded lock pins which make the trigger, circuit board and on/off button easier to change yet more secure. Recessed frame screws disappear into the grip frame for a cleaner look.

Four Point Naughty Dog Adjustable Trigger - The fully adjustable trigger can be dialed in to suit any taste, without needing to open the grip or remove the grip frame.

New Regulator - The new Shocker NXT regulator in the Custom Naughty Dog Sleeve offers increased flow rate for maximum velocity stability.

Sculpted, Rebuildable Ball Detent Assemblies - Left and right spring loaded ball detent assemblies are multi-axis CNC machined to integrate seamlessly into the body. They prevent double feeding and provide
easy access to inspect and clean the break-beam Vision eyes.

Harder Anodized Aluminum Finish - The new Shocker anodized aluminum finish is harder and stronger than ever before, to keep the Naughty
Dogs Shocker looking good even under the most abusive tournament conditions.

The fully enclosed Naughty Dog body design is compatible with Shocker SFT aftermarket bolt kits and is outfitted with Autococker compatible barrel threads for a wide range of barrel options. The
Naughty Dog bolt guide blends into the Naughty Dog Shocker body styling. The clamping feed neck attaches with a new thread pattern for even greater durability.

To much of good thing? When it comes to features that enhance performance, there's no such thing!

OH and definately get the NOX BOARD
Strengths: Fast, most accurate of all ive shot
Weaknesses: Trigger if it is a weakness! Just think they could of done more for design
Review: It is the best gun i have shot so far, and i have had every new gun out except for a timmy! This gun is lighter than a dm6 and ego, and faster! WELL just as fast as my dm6, but faster than my ego. As for accuracy, it is the best i have shot....with the freak barrel and inserts, you just cant beat it!
Conclusion: For the money and performance, this is the best gun out! PERIOD...i was disappointed in the 06 ego, just because it didnt feel different from the 05 or shoot different...just a frame change! the dm6 is nice, but i did have some problems with it out on the field that was annoying, but was great otherwise when operating!

Upgrades:
Nox Bolt - Lighter, quiet, less kick and easier on paint and on the detents.
Nox Board - There's some other boards out there, but why mess with success?
Take the spring off the trigger...much better feel. If you like more of a flatter trigger you can put it in a vice clamp and slightly bend it back.
Replace the reg with a CP or other brand to lighten up the gun. The stock reg works OK, but is fairly heavy.
Strengths: Quiet
Accurate
light
very low maintenance
Weaknesses: Stock board suffers from first shot drop off.
Stock bolt is heavy.
Review: First used the gun in cold conditions ( 34 degrees )with crappy paint...broke a few balls, mostly barrel breaks, but did chop a few. Shot some through the Ego and had the same results. From what I saw every gun had the same problems that day.

Got the bolt and board in the gun and this thing will rip strings as fast as any other out there...will easily outshoot a Halo B. Use a B2 or V35 if 20+ balls is your thing. Trigger not quite as easy to rip as an Ego or Angel though. Alot better cold weather results with the new bolt and dwell settings using the Nox upgrades.

Finally played with some good paint and warmer weather. Shoots a fairly flat trajectory and is consistent within +/- 5fps. The only chop all day was caused by the loader.

Conclusion: No gun is perfect, but compared to what's out there this one is close. Shoots straight and no LPR or rammers to adjust. No sketchy eye wires to deal with. What more can you ask of a gun? 9.5

Review: first impression of the marker is wow! shoots like its nobodys business. the gun felt so balance after putting on the tank /hopper. This gun weights lighter than my friends 06 ego and nxt . the milling on this gun is clean and simple . If you have the money to buy this gun dont hesitate, it's worth the price.
Conclusion: Buy it and you won't regrate it.

Strengths: Break beam eyes nox bord only for dogs small light shorter than sft
Weaknesses: I dont like to way the reg is set
Review: Picked one up liked it a lot but didnt like the way the reg felt because it stuck out but a huge advantage is that it is tighter than the dm6 and is a lot cheaped. for example dm6 1300$ sl66 ego 1800$ nd shocker 1100$ so you save 200 dollers over a dm6 and get break beam eyes so i say nd>dm6 and sl66
Conclusion: If you can buy it if not convert shocker to break beam

Review: Well I have been doing a lot of research on a lot of guns for the past half year trying my best to get the gun that fits me. I kept on coming onto this site and reading up on the goods and the bads of the Minions, Egos, DMs, PMs, Eteks and the NXT Shockers. I wanted a high end gun and made sure I spent the right amount for one. I even went to my local paintball store and asked to test each one of these guns out. And of course i fell in love with the shocker feel but I didn't like the fact that it was Impuse threads so I held off for a while testing out more guns. It was until I found the Naughty Dog shocker, which came with the cool body, a freak all american barrel (the stock NXT's do not) snap feed neck, HE bolt, and a better more efficient regulator and what sold me on it... Cocker threading! (its because I already had cocker barrels at home for my other guns)

I Bought it on the spot. Brought it home, read the manual and found out that the manual recommended High pressure rather than Low pressure air. Since I only owned low pressure tanks I thought i was going to have to buy another tank. But I took a chance and gassed it uo with one of my Crossfire tanks and put a hopper full of cheap white box paint on it and shot a few in my back yard.

Of course I needed to adjust the board so I think I set at my dwell at 15 and I don't remember my fire rate. Well any ways, I got it to where I wanted it to be and WOW!!! it shot so smooth and so accurate. I set my target to what i though was 50 feet out and not sure of how many balls I uloaded but I only missed the first 2 shots. The rest were right on target. I did not have to adjust the velocity to get it going (I don't have a chrono anyway). I put another hopper full on and just wanted to see how fast i could run through it. I want to say it took less than 10 seconds to go through my halo.

Then the very next day I went to my local paintball field and went straight to the chrono station. I found that it was already set at 288 so i upped it a little. All day long it worked flawlessly, no chops, no barrel breaks. I am a snake man so lightness is an importance and this gun did not slow me down one bit. I read in the manual and on this site that the NXT's were gas hogs so to test that out, after every game I looked at how much I used and did not fill up until I got under 1000psi. 1rst game went by and I used just around 700 psi, next game went by and a little less. I think I went 5 games before I got about around 500psi left then I refilled. Probably because of the LP. Any ways, I have been using it non stop for a month and a half now and I am still amazed at how great this gun shoots.

Conclusion: I would say this is the best gun I have ever owned. For the money ($699 now days) its well spent. Keeps up with my friends 08 Ego and I like the feel of this shocker way better, and much, cheaper!
Light, accurate, looks great, for me its air efficient, fast!

Review: I've finally bought Shocker NXT, I was considering also Ego and Angel. I do not regret my decision. This gun is great. Shoots accurate as hell, well balanced, light, very, very comfortable and fast. The only thing that i don't like is crappy asa, it's standart problem of all shockers and Ions, if you don't want to damage your HP tank, change it quickly. But try it before buing one, maybe it's just my problem. Feedneck - it depends on hopper, but my Vlocity is shakeing little bit with that feedneck. I also have some problems with hissing macroline, but it's just a cheap microline, I'll replace it and problem's gone for less then 5$. I love the trigger and trigger frame, it's very comfortable. Stock board is ok for me, I've bought blackheart board and I've changed it back to stock - the only things I need are single fire and Millenium ramping, more gadgets are not usefull for me. I've shot about 3000 paintballs since I've bought it, the weather was horrible (about 3-5 degrees) and it didnt' chop any paint. All paintballs were flying accurate, one after one.
Conclusion: I give 9 but when I'll buy new feedneck and asa this gun is 10 for me. It's the same class as Ego, Angel and DYE but price is very good, 50% less then DYE :) Go for this gun If you don't believe that best gun must be 1200 $ and more :) Shocker is the gun I was looking for.
