Review:
The Opsgear M4 vest is a sturdy, well-made, and highly functional piece of equipment. I go between playing a "midfielder" with 200-400 rds and a "flanker" with 50-75 rds, and this vest has been a great asset for hauling balls. Without adding any MOLLE pod cases, this vest can tote six 100 rd pods (or 140 rd pods if you don't care about closing the pockets) at any time.
The MOLLE backing on the vest allows for greater "customizability." I carry a 20oz tank using a larger MOLLE pocket, and a quart of water (in warmer conditions) so I don't dehydrate on the field.
I only have a few criticisms on this vest:
1) The outermost pod pockets do restrict your twisting motions a bit (I have tucked the velcro enclosures into the pockets to reduce catching my marker on them). Keep in mind though - any vest is going to restrict motion to a degree.
2) The pockets are stitched to the vest (as opposed to heavy duty velcro, or MOLLE construction, so you can never modify the front of the vest without permanently changing it.
On the whole, this vest performs extremely well under the conditions I've used it, and I have no regrets buying it.
Conclusion:
The Opsgear name is synanomous with quality, and this vest reflects it well. Whether you need to carry 50 rds or 600+ rds you will find enough space to take ammunition and more for a long game. Despite your movement being somewhat restricted by the outermost pockets, I still highly recommend this piece of gear to anyone looking to up their game.
Awesome vest fits real good and looks great plus hold pods real nicely
Weaknesses:
Ammo pouches restrict your movement.
Review:
This vest is very nice it fits well looks amazing and very comfy. The only problame is that the vests ammo holder gets in your way thay restrict your movement like ducking rolling etc and if you have a co2/air canister at the back of your gun you cant aim proppaly.I found if you only use half of the ammo pouches it helps a lot and is not so heavy and bulcky. If you have a remote line and air canister holder at the back of the vest it will help a lot to.Other than this the vest is amazing and i give it 9/10.
Conclusion:
Very good vest good guilty looks amazing only problame which mentioned are the ammo holders it restricts your movement quite a bit.
