Hardshell Products, based out of Arizona, has released their flagship bolt for the EGO. This bolt has the same high perforamnce Xpertflow and Rightweight technology.

Our Xpert Flow Technology is best described as the quest for better gas efficiency. These days all electronic markers rip. All tournament grade markers operate on a low pressure platform. One of the last industry wide technologies to be effectively harnessed is efficiency. Hardshell will set the benchmark for gas efficient products. Testing products from bolts to valve systems requires more thought than simple FPS gain. Factors like weight and drag need to be accounted for as well. At Hardshell, we plan to deliver many accurately controlled tests to better educate our customers.
Rightweight Technology represents our engineering style. All our construction materials are selected by design intent. The lightest weight material is always used in proportion to its function and manufacturing characteristics. Weight, strength and durability are just a few examples of features evaluated before the proper material selection is made. The product end task also dictates use of materials. Certain parts such as bolts, hammers or actuators must weight in at a minimum to maintain or enhance efficiency. Others such as regulator pistons must be light as possible to perform at new levels. Hardshell constantly innovates ways to balance Rightweight materials into harmony. Materials working together serving specific needs ultimately control part weight.

Review:
I put this bad boy into my etek, shooting with stock settings, and compared to the stock bolt i saw a velocity increase of 27 fps...With stock i was shooting 293 +- 6 and with hs shooting 320 +-3. The bolt has less kick due to the fact its both smaller and lighter than the stock, and lowers the noise of the marker its self. With no orings the bolt never has to be lubed, and preforms very well. It is a good solid upgrade.
Conclusion:
Very very pleased with it, works as it is said to, no problems yet...
