I bought this bolt as soon as it came to my local shop. I held it in my hand and it felt as light as a piece of paper. The price wasn't bad at all-$45. I took it home with me and lubed up the new bolt and replaced the stock one. I took my gun out back to shoot through some bags of paint. I shot of a couple of test shots to hear if it was quieter or not, and it was. as I shot through the rest of the paint, I noticed a big increase in shot consistency. I also noticed the amount of air that was still in my tank. A lot! I was very impressed. the bolt it very well constructed and finished. It doesn't feel weak or flimsy in your hand when you hold it. this bolt is great because it will keep me on the field longer because I will be able to shoot more rounds before running out of air.

| Conclusion: |
If you have a Quest, get this bolt. If you think your Quest is great now, just wait until you drop this thing in your marker. |

| Review: |
i bought the gold member for my quest because i wanted better efficency (not that the quest needs it). deispite the belife that the Goldmember is lighter than stock it is not. they both weight about 35 grams. the difference is the o-ring placement. on the Goldmember the front o-ring is right in front of the vents instead of on the front.
As i stated in the weakness section mine broke the first time i used it. about halfway through the last game i played it broke. it shot forward and started leaking air down the barrel.
i e-mailed FEP and they said they would send me a new one so i will edit this when i get to use it more. |

| Conclusion: |
When it worked it was a nice bolt and pushed my Quest to its full potential. But seeing as to how it broke i have to give it a 7. If it didnt break id have given it a 10 |
