*Story of a JD A1 owner and me*
Ok, so I ref every now and than at a local field.
A kid walks in with a Joy devision Angel 1, hes about 11 years old. The marker is brand new, never seen the field. He pulls out a pulse loader, and his dad/uncle buys him paint. Hes wearing nib C7 pants and a hoodie. He says hes been playing 5 times, and wanted the best marker setup on the market.
Somewhere between loading up his NIB pulse, and filling his loader, he dropps the A1 from about 3 ft up, along with the pulse and dye tank. The pulse nolonger works. Observing and laughing to my self, I offer him my Reloader B, in exchange for some time to tinker with the settings, and the OLED scroll wheel, and some paint.
He agrees and heads out to play. Another young kid who is about 10 with a PMR and jeans Challenges the A1 boy 1on1. I ref but I wasnt on the clock or anything. The game lasts 2 seconds, and the A1 boy is out off the break. He was scared to play anybody else, so he walks up and says my gun isnt shooting fast. After that he cried a bit where I went to work on the Angel 1.When I found out how to use breakout/ramp he was the happiest kid ever. His dad/uncle kept giving us paint to put through the gun. We ramped out about 3/4th of a case. good times... good times...
*Review starts here:
The gun is light as hell, balances perfactly, making it easy to switch hands or play tight. The standard ASA/bleed is also verry nice. Throw a 45 45 on it, and a revy and you might have the lightest setup ever.
The trigger frame was a 45 deg type, but with no dramatic hump like timmys, or the 45 frame for the G7/G7fly. The trigger was a nice and simple magnetic blade, it was externally adjustable with some allen keys to the point of perfection, 14-15bps pure semi is to be expected.
Kick would be the only small fault. There is some, and the gun is loud. But seriously, those things could be worked out if I attempted to balance the LPR/HPR, and I was pretty sure that the kid was shooting hot.(couldnt find chrono).
I love the milling. Joy is engraved on the breach, and there are swapped yellow parts. The anno is a flawless black gloss.
Preformance wise, I did not get a single barrel break, or chop, in 3/4th of a case on ramping, breakout, semi, and NXL full auto.
The OLED interface is the best software ever. A1 board>Virtue, seriously, no lie.
Accuracy was spot on, with good paint/barrel match. Hell this thing comes with a kit (its good to overbore with popit style guns)
After 2 hours with the JD A1, I knew I should get one. But I am to broke, so I settled for a standard one Used, for a cool 700$. About half of what the 11 year olds dad paid (1350).
Conclusion:
If you know your stuff, and have the bank, this is the best angel ever.
now let me just start off by saying please don't think i am joking, i am being really serious
it's an angel, THE FREAKING MAINTNENCE ON THIS THING IS JUST INSANE, I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO KEEP THIS GUN RUNNING COMPARED TO AN 08 EGO. Now l am on a team sponsored by planet eclipse, but i thought i would try an angel 1 just for fun. I saw 2 guy's with the joy'd a1's at the local field i was at and they both were breaking down and had massive leaks coming from the ram area in the back of the gun. But being the optimistic guy i am, i thought hey it is just bad luck cause there is no way they could suck that bad right?
WOW WAS I Wrong.....i pulled it out of box night before play and tested it, it works just fine i thought. so when i was playing the next day i had the same freakng leak that those other guy's had at the field. i couldn't belive it...so i sent it to the techs and it was fixed..
1 weeks later i go to play and it is leaking out of the bolt and that same spot again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate angel products, they suck compare to planet eclipse and the maintence is way easy on them...
All you do before game is take bolt out and drop 2 drops of oil on ram....,,, but for the angel you have to make sure to lube it every 10 minutes or something will go wrong with it.
another thing i hate about it is that it is so much work to get the gosh dang ram out of the gun. WOW. with the ego you just enscrew that cap. but with angels you have to take the grip frame off.

ok, so I opened up the box, best packaged gun ever! Angel outdid themselves packaging this one! Comes with a barrel kit, and a sweet tool case! So I put the barrel on, and loaded up the halo, then the crossfire, and went out side to shoot it. I shot it on nppl mode, worked great! Then I switched over to psp, amazing no ball breaks, shot very clean. Shot about a full case with it in my back yard with no ball breaks! If you are a serious baller, or just getting into paintball and want the best gun made. This gun is for you. Also WDP sends you all of there upgrades for free! Best gun EVER! ALSO SOME PEOPLE SAY THAT THIS GUN BREAKS PAINT, NO WAY! I'VE GONE FULL AUTO, PSP, NPPL MODES AND NO BREAKS!!!!
Conclusion:
Best gun there is, period.

10 out of 10

this gun is the balls... PERIOD, best gun i ever shot, its small, light, fast, nice air pressure, KISS TECH. makes sure you dont break balls and it looks like a million bucks, and i love the LED, you can switch settings in like 10 secods [at my field they have a only semi auto rule so i keep my gun on ramp and when they ask what my setting is i quickly switch the settings to semi, no harm no foul right?]

Charging difficulties
Review:
A couple of months ago i bought this gun, which by the way is great. I have been playing for a while and have used a bunch of guns, but none of them have performed to the degree of this angle joy. It performs just as advertised. I only had one major problem with my joy and that was recharging it. The battery gave out and i had to stop playing for the day and buy a new rechargeable.....Besides that it i love it
Conclusion:
Cant go wrong with this gun man............Excellent
Fast
light
accurate
easy adjustable via LCD display
Weaknesses:
special tool's for LPR and mini reg. output adjustments are not included
Review:
First up- sorry for typing faults. My english is not the best.
Straight out of the box was my marker more or less a spray can and not a paintball marker.
The gun chopped half a hopper and didn't performed as i expected. So i went online to see on WDP's site what my problem could be. I read that the marker straight out of the box runs on 99 fps. So i tried to adjust the velocity and still. Splat splat splat.
On WDP's site were an explanation how to check and adjust the input pressure as well the low pressure. I was a little disappointed about the fact that i need to spend more cash to get the special tools to do the adjustment. So i ordered the gauges to get the job done.
A week l8r the tools finally arrived and i started right away to check the pressure.
I adjusted the mini reg. pressure down to 250 psi and checked the LPR- i ended up at ca. 56 psi
I updated the software to 2.2, used the same setup as JD Stockholm and made sure i use some proper paint.
After shooting true 2 cases the marker started to do what i want- i played a bit around with ABS and the dwell time and it all worked out- now i love this gun more than ever. Doesn't only looks good it shots great as well-
Conclusion:
After a few start problem the gun turned out to be awesome. And its not so expensive anymore- when you love angel go for this marker.
I bought this marker originally for my wife. I have a 05 speed with Evolve and Cobra internals. She loves leapord and Joy Division, so when this marker came out, I jumped all over it. This marker is so sweet!!! It is ball on ball accuracy and air efficiency makes this marker a very difficult marker to pass up. It is also very fast, but with the NPPL regulations, who really cares anymore? But, for walk-ons this marker still kicks.
The only thing that I have added to this marker is a 16' .691 Stiffi. I only got this barrel because of the extra lost in weight and the performance that the stiffi gives. Eventhough the barrel boars are large, WDP is releasing another barrel kit that is your American standard paint size.
Conclusion:
The price may be high, but you diffinetly get what you pay for. Also, the couple of upgrades that WDP release, they send it to you for free.
