The Redz ENVY pack is a fulfillment of all that extra time we spent on R&D over the past year or so. The pack and belt are now fused together as a complete unit, which gives players increased comfort, ease of use, and added weight capacity while eliminating bounce. This new, streamlined design exceeds the needs of today's players.
Features:
* Streamlined Profile - A smaller and lighter pack that does more with less. The lower belt height makes it easier to crouch and run, and the all of the pouches and sleeves are perfectly spaced so that the Podz lay closer to your back.
* Torpedo Launch System - Elasticized loops at the top of each main pouch, fire a pod into your hand when released.
* Embroidered Identity - Nothing but classy, smooth, soft, embroidered patches that help repel paint breaks and say "QUALITY" at the same time.
* Lightweight - Knowing weight is the biggest factor in speed, Redz made this pack out of the lightest, strongest textiles available.
* Dual-Layer Snug Straps - Multi-tension snug straps pull the ENVY pack tighter into your back for greater support and zero bounce.
* Greater Capacity - Split pod loops on the sides allow you to carry even more paint to the field with a smaller pack. The Envy 3+2+3 pack carries three to ten Podz, and the Envy 4+2+4 carries four, or as many as twelve Podz.
* Perfectly Sized - Two sizes are available. The small size fits anyone with a 32 inch waist or smaller. The medium/large size fits 32 inch-44 inch waists. Big ballers can purchase an inexpensive Extension Belt that comfortably adds another 16 inches to the waistline. |

The NV line is the newest line from Redz and when you order from Redz Comfort Gear, you know you are getting a good product. The 3 2 3 NV Pack is a great harness for Forward and Middy Players, it looks, feels, and (most importantly) performs great for any style of play. Its cheap and powerful, also a plus from using Redz:
get a simple team sponsorship and get redz gear for half off! full redz uniform for $80
its a well priced harness and one of the best out there, im am giginv it a 9 because it is not perfect and 10s are just handed out one this site. Id giv it a 9.5 if I could.

| Conclusion: |
I say get the pack if you want a cheap reliable and sexy harness. I've been playing for 4 years and have not come across a better harness, I am sure I am bound to, but this one is still great
Highly Reccomended |

Today was the first day I have used this pack since I got it for christmas. I was truly amaed with the overall performance of this system. Every aspect has been considered and improved upon compared to all other packs alike or different from the Red Envy.
key components below:
BOUNCE
compared to my other pack, which was really bouncy and always fell off, the Redz was a dream come true. virtually no bounce whatsoever. You can do anything in this pack; run, jump, dive, crawl, you name it and this baby is going to stay on you as comfortable as you can imagine.
FIT
I have a 38" waist, so I'm a big baller. I got the large, and it fits perfect. Good enough to layer when it's cold out, but fully adjustable when it's not. The velcro comes across to latch onto the other strip, which is velcro all around, meaning you won't have to line up thos tiny little velcro strips anymore (*cough* *cough* Dye C-5). The two pull-tabs near the pods make finer adjustments easy, quick, and effective. When this baby is full of paint it still fits like magic. The back panel also has a very good grip on it too. Also, the belt is about 4 or 5 inches thick, just the right amount for a perfect fit.
PODS+DEPLOYMENT
I have the 4+2+4 ENV, not that I need that many pods, but I play woodsball and I use the 4 sleeves because they are easy to put the pods back in. For Big Games I will use more. The adjustment sleeves also have room to carry probably two more pods each as well, bringing your total amount to 16 pods (not like anyone would ever need 2240 rounds). The Torpedo Launch System is great, sprining the pod into your hand, but be careful, it will hit the ground if you don't have your hand there to catch it. To put the pods back in, just place them firmly in the sleeve, and hold onto the velcro tab, pulling up so the pod naturally gets put into it's place.
OTHER
a key strength I like about this pack is the amount of soft velcro on the left tab. This allows me to put my SPECIAL OPS Brigade patches on, a huge feature if you are a member. very convenient. Another thing, when you've been running around all day long, walking 1/2 a mile to the staging zone, this pack really give you some great back releif. If you get it nice and snug, it will offer great back support. I have noticed a huge difference since switching to this pack. Another plus!!! |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Great pack. Absolutly excellent. They just came out with a new design for it too, as well as a new color: olive, which is great for woodsballers like me who don't want to stick out just because of their pack. I really can;t say enough good about this pod pack. IT HAS MY RECOMENDATION! 10/10 for sure. Just too many great features on this pack to give it anything lower. |

Generic 4+1 harness w/ 100rnd tubes - no comparison, Redz blows it away with the belt alone.
Redz 3-down and 4-down packs 6 years ago - Fairly similar, but did not include expansion loops, and the velcro wore down after a few years of year-round, once or twice a week use (I reffed at a paintball field and carried extra CO2 for the rentals and a water bottle in it.) |

| Review: |
When I first started playing paintball, I got a generic 4+1 harness with a plastic clip closure. The only tightening available was pulling the belt through the buckle tighter. It bounced around a lot, slowing me down and annoying me every step.
Enter the Redz pack: the belt is much wider than my previous pack (about 4.5 inches). It velcros together across your stomach, then has tightening straps on each side that you pull from your sides to the front to get the exact fit you want. This pack does not move. There is a thin layer of padding between the pods and your back, so the pods won't dig in if you tighten up a bit.
The pod holders are a bit tight, but that's a good thing: you don't have to perform the "release and catch" maneuver when going for a pod, which, if flubbed, results in at best, a pod on the ground, and not in your hand. The tops of the pod holders are elastic, so you push your pod up into them and hold it there when closing the strap pregame. When you open the velcro strap, it slides down 1.5 inches for easy grabbing, but is still stuck in there enough due to the tight fit that it won't fall out - I have yet to test this with a pod full of paint, but it will hold an empty one like a vice. The outer two pod holders have a double layer of fabric on the outsides, for added durability when lying down/sliding/doing other crazy things paintballers do. The outer layer feels like neoprene, possibly to soften a shot on the pack so that it might bounce.
There's not much more to a pack than a belt and pod holders, besides how it looks. I have black (it also comes in red and blue trimmed models). It has a classy look to it, nothing flashy/gaudy about it. All black, except for grey logos. It says "Redz" on either side of the pods, has a pepper on one of the pod straps, and another chili on each belt tightener. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I am happy with my pack. Though similar products are available for a few bucks less, Redz is the way to go. It's solid and works well.
I can't see myself ever taking ten 130 round tubes into a game, but like a car airbag, even if you don't intend to use it, it's nice to know it's there. Who wouldn't want to carry ten pounds of paint on ther back at least once in ther life?
I give this a ten because it does its job perfectly and looks good while doing it. |

| Review: |
Used this pack for 6 months with no problem, great pack, then last week it blew out on me. The velcro on the middle pod carrier frayed to the point where it stopped working... a pod fell out while I was walking around wasting all my paint and cracking my pod. Now it won't stay closed with a pod in it at all, making the entire pack worthless since I don't want to use a 2+2. Normal use of it about 2 times a month, put it in the washing machine every other time it was used (maybe that could've messed up the velcro? doubt it). It was great while it lasted, maybe it just got old, going to try an NXE pack and see how it compares... |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Very comfy and nice, but low durability on the velcro part. May be a part of all packs? May be because I put it in the washing machine? Who knows, but because it didn't last me a year+, I have to give it a 7/10. |
