The Dye Jersey for 2007 has been taken to the next level with the serious player as the focus. Features this year include an increased venting system, increased raised patented Dyetack, dual mesh side paneling, and slot sleeve venting. In addition, Dye has improved the contoured shoulder protection for a universal fit. Their elbow and forearm protection has been extended to help provide you with maximum protection. Today's game is extremely fast paced and demanding. Knowing this, Dye strives to provide you with the best performance playing gear available. It is a never-ending process.

Features:

* VENTING -The dual mesh flow through venting system adds 30% more ventilation. Inset sleeve venting at the elbows and at the upper shoulder allows exceptional air circulation allowing for reduced body temperature. Keeping cool during a game is not only important to your body's health, but it also helps with you stamina.
* DYETACK - Dye invented Dyetack in 2002. It has been imitated and grossly duplicated across the board. There is nothing like the original. They have perfected the direct inject process to provide the most durable and tacky surface to help steady your tank. Dye's team of designers placed the Dyetack in specific locations to optimize tank stability. If your tank is stable, then your aim is stable. The result is an increased chance of hitting your target.
* PROTECTION - Custom enlarged forearm and elbow protection helps reduce injury. The ballistic nylon elbow shell will drastically reduce wear and tear on your jersey during intense slides or dives. Contoured shoulder protection is also critical in helping to reduce the sting of close range bunker shots, while also offering more protection from slides and dives.
* 3D LOGOS - Double embroidered 3D sphere logos add style, and style is a key ingredient to looking good.
* PADDED COLLAR - The C7 Jersey features a new style of collar. A soft flexible Lycra collar for complete comfort with a small amount of padding to help protect your neck from close range bunker shots.
* REINFORCED ELBOW - The game has evolved. It's faster and more intense than ever. Aggressive moves are critical and so is good protection. That's why Dye increased the surface area of the padding in the forearms and elbows to offer maximum protection. Reducing injury means you can play harder.
* MICRO FIBER LENS CLOTH - For 2007 Dye has added a convenient and effective micro fiber lens cloth to their jersey. The unique placement to the left cuff of the jersey prevents unwanted dirt and debris from jeopardizing the cloth's effectiveness, and makes it extremely easy to use on the fly to clean your lens.
Product Availability
The Dye C7 Jersey is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

Review: First off this jersey looks stunning. I paid premium for it but it's definitely worth it.

Materials used were very high quality although I feel like SOME parts of the shirts were a little rough in terms of finishing and stitching. The main part of the shirt is kind of like a nylon material. I expected it to be a soft polyester, but this is good, gives you more protection. I also got a lot of bounces from this jersey. We were playing 3 on 3, and I got two guys trying to bunker me. I got about 5 shots to the stomach but they all bounced.

This jersey has some tack on the chest so your gun doesn't slide off your body. Not a HUGE difference like I expected but it helps.

It's very light and breathable, but same weakness as the C6, if you get shot in the ribs, it will HURT because it's thin breathing material.

Padding is pretty nice. I'd still wear elbow pads, but if you don't have any, these are still much better than regular clothes.

You can really tell this product has been well thought out. It has a microfiber cloth in your left sleeve for cleaning your lenses which is nice although it's a little hard to use because it's about 3 inches from your sleeve, and it's not a big peice of cloth, so you have to kinda bend your arm in a funny way to use it. I don't see myself using it a lot but it's nice to have.

Also I know a lot of you guys order online and have problems with sizing. Dye stuff is a little bigger than regular clothing IMO. I'm normally a M-L, so I thought I'd go with a gray XXL but they only had L. I settled for a blue XL and it's definitely baggy enough. Although I should've been getting an XXL because you want about 2 sizes larger than what you usually wear. I wear a L most of the time.
Conclusion: I would definitely recommend it if you have the money. You get what you paid for. This product gets a 9 because I feel like it's great but not perfect.

Review: OK, so I have had this jersey for about a month now, and it has been serving me well. Everything washes out nicely after a nice long day of paintball. At first I didn't have any concerns, as far as I cared, I looked 100% badass in it. Then the more I played with it, the more I noticed some things that were conveniently awesome and certain things that weren't so awesome.

Awesome Things: I looked cool, the Dye Inject Rubber was placed where my N2 tank would be to prevent slippage, the elbow padding is great, and the shoulder pads protect my shoulders to an extent. Also the wrist have elastic cuffs to keep them from moving too much.

Not So Awesome Things: The fabric that connects from the armpit to the side of my body is horrendous. Maybe they were trying to make more air room for the pits, but because the fabric is connected, it is a pain to life your arms upward without pulling your jersey up. Another issue I have is breathability. Any jersey by Dye definitely feels well padded, however this comes with a cost, it gets hot in a Dye Jersey, and it gets hot fast.
Conclusion: I would buy this product mainly because its a solid jersey, you feel well protected, you get some lucky bounces on the padded areas, and the Dye rubber Inject is awesome for where your N2 tank should be. All in all, just go ahead and buy yourself one. You can get one for $50 now.

Review: First off this jersey is a very nice jersey but it has its weaknesses. the price is ok but it is a little much for a peice of fabric. the rubber on the sleeves makes it harder to slide without getting scraped up. the chest emblem is an easy target for players and will almost always break paint if hit. other than that it is not that bad of a jersey. it breathes really easy and looks great( I have the skull cammo version) you will be cooled off in the slightest breese. I rate it as an 8.
Conclusion: kind of heavy, stiff chest emblem, rubber on sleeves, price, breathable, looks. I rate as an 8.

Weaknesses: A little rough on bare skin but you dont notice it in the game.
Review: Today was my first time to wear it in a game and it was very nice. At the field i go to its outdoors so i got a camo mainly because i play woodsball. before today i played in pull-over camo but it being the summer it was like an oven so i had to get something lighter. I first saw the jersey at a Paintball store and couldn't take my eyes off it. Like i said today was my first time to use it so i dont have much experience with it but it worked great. Once i was shot 3 times at once and only one broke. you probably noticed on other reviews abought the grips on the sholders i have to say being a Tippmann guy i have a stock on my A-5 so i dont really need it but its helpful for stopping balls from breaking and is nice to look at.
Conclusion: Over all It being my first jersey i cant really compare it to another, but i will give it a 10 because i know its not the best but it is pretty good and is worth it.

Review: Playing out in the sun at 80+ degrees wasn't so bad. The venting was VERY impressive. I was cooled off every time a breeze passed by. Padding and quality was great, I barely felt the hits (enough to know to check, plus that's what refs are for). The material is great for bounces and absorbing the shots. There are rubber grips on the Left + Right chest area (by your armpits) that help grip your tank. Also has a lense wipe in the left arm pocket.
Conclusion: Flawless Design

UPS

Looks - Beatufil. I've turned many heads on the field with the uniqueness of the LE jerseys.

Color - Comes in a variety of colors, and props to DYE for that.

Material - Made of light, breathable, durable, shiny material. Awesome

DOWNS

Stiff - Both of the C7 jerseys i've owned have been a bit stiff. The C6 was alot less stiff, much like silk.

Itchy - On the bare skin it's pretty. Normally I play without a shirt, only a jersey, but the C7 made me change that.

Color - Though it comes in a huge variety of colors I'm disappointed that DYE hasn't released reversed jerseys much like the C6's or the C7 Ironmen jerseys.
Conclusion: Buy it. Best jersey, and awesome looking

Review: I got this jersy for $100.00 In skull limited edition color. It Looks sweet. It also has alot ff padding on the shoulders, as well as venting. But it is very expensive. And When playing in the outdoors and being prone can frill the jersy. Also it has cuff wirst bands, and lots of dye logos. overall this is a good jersy but it is pricey.
Conclusion: I would get it if you have the money.

DyeTack shoulders
Weaknesses: Sizes are a little odd
Review: Pretty much everything is great about this jersey. The DyeTack on the front of the shoulders is nice, but its most effective if you have one of the C7 air tank covers with the same stuff on the back. Plenty of venting keeps you reasonably cool, considering the thickness of the fabric.

The cuffs are a little weird, though. Not BAD by any means, but just strange. They're elastic, but still tight enough I have to take my gloves off to take the jersey off. They're also just the right length to get hung up on the front of Dye's core elbow pads. Its an easy fix (I just rolled the front of my pads back), but you'd think DYE would notice something like that.
Conclusion: Great Jersey overall. It looks good and covers what it needs to cover. DYE might want to rethink their cuff design for the next version, though.

Strengths: Offers good protection yet lets the breezes in to cool you.
Weaknesses: For hot weather, this is not as thin as other jerseys.
Review: I was buying paint at Fox4 when these limited-edition jerseys came in the door. I wasn't planning to buy a jersey, but the Skull camo colorway looked sweet so I bought one on the spot.

There is padding in the elbows, forearms, and shoulders. There is tacky grip on the front of the shoulders. There are cooling meshes in various places as well. And a small pocket in the sleeve with a cheater rag. ;)

The jersey is quite protective. I've had many shoulder bounces because of the padding. And if you turn sideways to the breeze, it blows right through you.

But the jersey is double-layered, so it seems a bit heavy compared to the single-layer thin ones. But it's very comfortable.
Conclusion: It's a matter of personal preference. I find it very comfortable, and pretty cool given the protection it gives you.
