I was in sports authority and i saw this gun so i said ill think about getting it. Then when i went to my local paintball feild some kid was using it so i asked him if it was a good gun but i guess he didn hear me because he ran right pass me so i decided to watch him play. The gun was awsome it was pretty fast even for a semi auto gun then when he came out i asked him in his face if it was a good gun he let me try int out in the shootin range it was fast but it accuracy was ok. |

If you are a begginer and dont want a crappy rental gun getr this gun its really cheap and good |

Well my friend went out an bought this gun, he invited me to his house to test it so i brought a case of Evil Ultra and all my equipment and we tried it out, i saw him shooting and he kept shooting double balls and out of the box chopped, but it got better, now it is chopping every second ball! (went back to his house and fixed it not so bad.)
It was not the paint because I was rocking it on my pilot and didn't chop one.
O ya I totally out shined him with my gun!
EDIT: He was so mad at his gun he went out and bought a 98 custom platinum! |

this gun was great for about the first 200 shots. After that it broke tons off paint in the hopper because there was so much blowback. If you dont believe me take the hopper off, drop 2 balls in, and shoot and the top ball will get shot about 15 feet in the air. Also it is impossible to shoot fast because the trigger pull is about a foot long.Last, it is impossible to upgrade th asa because the holes are offset. |

Over all NICE good stater kit best runns on hpa very quiet .nice paint(green"n"silver)cheap gun but good price. need some after maket parts e.g bolt,barrel,elec hopper,new hpa system.I r ecomend shooting 2000 paintball befor upgrading recomended for a starter kit for woods ball. |

If you people haven't already figured it out. The Stryker STR-1 is just a re-badged JT Protium with all the features that make it good removed to make it cheaper to make. Just look at the body and you will instantly figure it out. Once again, an example of Brass Eagle trying to scam young players into buying a downsized marker, thinking its something new when the design of the product is four years old.
But, for having the expansion chamber removed, as well as the Electronic trigger, the barrel, and the dropfoward. The gun still performed OK. This puzzled me and I don't know why it performed so well but it did. The Karnage Tear flew straight from the barrel and landed on my opponent halfway across the field. Maybe its not so bad after all but I'm still mad at them for not actually making a new gun, just re-naming an old one. |

Its not that bad, but if you want this gun, just go buy a JT Protium, its cheaper because they dont make it anymore, and it has more features than this. |
