Sleek, curved CNC machined to exact specifications. Fully adjustable, micro switch actuator and travel stop positioning adjuster. Dual, caged roller bearing, first both roller bearings are press fitted into the trigger then sealed into place by a CNC machined 6061 aluminum cap. Guaranteeing a true alignment for your bearings to pivot on the trigger retention pin. Magnet or not to magnet? The choice is yours. We’ve cut a pocket so you can drop in your factory magnet if you prefer the performance it add’s. Don’t like it, simply push it out through the access hole and roll without it. True fit, easy installation, lifetime guarantee, 100% Made in America.
Product Availability
The Shocktech Dual Roller Bearing Trigger v2 is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

Marker Setup: 2006 Ion...Virture board, Vitrue eyes, SP QEV, Redz Pepper Sticks, Shocktech reg, Shocktech bolt, Shocktech body and no rise, Shocktech V2 trigger (no magnet), Dye Sticky grip, SP Max-flo Micro 68/4500, DXS Pulse w/ RF chip
Strengths: Very smooth bearings, light and bouncy without magnet, very little slop
Weaknesses: None yet. Doesn't come with a magnet but I hate magnets anyways.
Review: Just started using this trigger this season and it is by far my favorite trigger for the Ion, and I have shot over 25 different Ion's that I built for teams and individuals with just about any trigger you can name in them. Actually it is my favorite trigger out of any that I have ever had on any of my markers.

The new factory install process used for the bearings is a great improvement over the previous trigger that Shocktech made for the Ion. The bearings are pressed into the trigger then a cap is pressed in over the bearings to further secure them. They roll much smoother and because they don't slide around in the trigger itself there is very little side play, possibly the smallest amount I have seen on an Ion without a custom made shim installed.

The curved shape of the trigger is anatomically correct (because your middle finger is longer then your index finger) and walks much smoother then any straight trigger. It just plain feels better with a comfortable shape and very smooth ano job on it.

It is also very light and well balanced. The dish shaped switch contact point is great also, it glides across the switch very smoothly You can set it to be loose and bouncy without the magnet installed and have no worries of it not returning. You can also set it to be very short and rather crisp without a magnet installed, or you can add your current magnet to the pre-machined slot and get that very crisp feeling too.
Conclusion: Obviously your looking for a new trigger and this is the way to go. I will be recommending this trigger for all the Ion's I build and tweak for others. Very smooth, adjustable to any pull preference, and very comfortable. All around, a very well designed trigger.

Strengths: Easy to install, no side to side play, uses Ion pin and magnet, no springs.
Weaknesses: The magnet on the Ion trigger must be gound to fit shocktech trigger.
Review: I find that I like this trigger alot and I researched and researched many triggers to find the right one. I originally ordered a spring loaded trigger but I did not like it at all and to me it seem like another part to fall off or fail. I like the magnet trigger and prefer to stay with what works for the gun. The trigger itself was easy to install and had no side to side play and no adjusting the trigger with a screw. It uses the exisitng pin for the trigger and the Ion trigger magnet as well. Very simple and smooth operating. I still have some fine tuning to do on the field to get it where I want it, but that is no big deal. One last note, no modifications are needed to the trigger itself at all, pops right in.
Conclusion: I am only giving the trigger an 8 as I have only tested it on my ion. I am sure it will produce and more than likely I will give a higher rating once I play with it. So I will guess a 9 overall

Review: This trigger is so smooth it's sick! I preferred to use mine with a magnet, but you can use it without one also. This trigger is smoother than the Redz trigger IMO. It is extremely responsive. You barley have to pull to get it going. You will notice an increase in your rate of fire; if you play in semi mode of course.
Conclusion: This is a MUST upgrade for your Ion because it will help increase your BPS which may be that little edge to get you that win. Plus it's a high quality product; Shocktech backs up what they sell.

Review: This is one of the greatest upgrades you can possibly get for your Ion. A new trigger on any gun improves it's abilities, and the Shocktech v2 takes the ion to a new level.

It's S-Curve design is great for walking. It's got a very smooth pull, and can be set to a touch sensitive type trigger. If you don't like a loose trigger, your stock magnet can be placed into the trigger to give it that "snappy" feel.

Currently mine is set up with a loose design, and the trigger pull is less that a centimeter. I can basically touch the trigger, and it will fire. I can easily pull 16-17 w/o ramping.... and with ramping, well, everybody can do 20+!
Conclusion: Final thoughts:
Get this trigger. It does everything you could possibly want a trigger to do except make coffee. Overall an essential part to any player, tournament or not. If you want quality, performance, and looks, then go for the v2. It'll be worth every penny.
