Review: Ok first off i got a pair of these after i looked at them in a local pro shop and noticed they where more vented and padded then the 06 versions. So i bought a pair. And thay are very comfortabe. And very breathable. Even though i love them i still got too put my cons in here. Ok the first con is the button is very easy too rip right out if your not careful (ok im guilty as charged) But its an easy fix if you know some one who can sew and some velcro. and thay are alittle pricey but what paintball pants arent?
Conclusion: Very good pants and gotta love the new grappix. i would highly recommend them but warn others about that button.

Strengths: Lightweight

Padding is good
Weaknesses: 2-pod harness
Waist straps(kind of)
Review: I got these and have only been able to use them once so far. I have found them very comfortable, lightweight, and ventilated well. I haven't had any issues with the "roughness" in the pants, but i do wear shorts under them so i can take them off and get in the car when i'm done.

To me, the little 2-pod harness thing is pointless. They just kinda flap around unless I have a harness on over them.

The waist straps could definitely have a larger chunk of velcro to strap on to. I got the mediums and I have to strap them almost too far back for the velcro. It doesn't really bother me though.
Conclusion: I'm going to give them a 10. I did this because I thought the advantages heavily outweighed the disadvantages. so what if the little waist straps COULD be a little longer? They still fit.

Weaknesses: Integrated pod harness
Review: First off, they look pretty cool. When I ordered them it said a medium is 32-36, and I'm a 34, so they should fit just fine. Not really. I have to tighten the velcro straps all the way to get them to stay up, but they are still a little loose. The adjustable straps aren't very good, and there really isn't much adjusting that can be done. The knee pads are kind of low, but they are nice. The mesh is all down the inseam and makes for some nice ventilation. The pod harness things are more of a nuisance than anything beneficial and aren't usefull unless you dont have a pack on. There are four swab pockets, one on each leg and on eon the outside of the back pockets. Overall, these pants are very light, and are functional.
Conclusion: These pants have some major weaknesses, but they get the job done. I love the mesh.

Review: I absolutely LOVE these pants. This is my first pair of pants but I used my friends JT pants one day, they were really heavy. These pants are very light weight but still very well padded. The mesh on the sides and the rear are really nice. The first issue I had with them is the adjustable waist. It really doesn't adjust all that much. The next issue I had with them is the harness. At first it is very difficult to get the pods in a out. But if you work with it a little bit it's a lot easier. The padding on them is really good. I went and played at an indoor place that had concrete floors, and I had no problems with the knees or anything. Mind you I was wearing knee pads but still they pants worked really well in there. And to top it all off, these pants look sexy as h3ll.
Conclusion: I give these pants a 9 out of 10 because the rough feeling takes a little time to go away, and the harness is hard to mess with at first.

Strengths: MESH!!!!!
decent padding in "optimal" areas
Weaknesses: Tough to get pods in/out of "harness"
Rough on the legs at first
Review: Spend my paintball time split between woods ball and speed ball, so i wanted a setup that would work for both. I didn't want camo and Evil is one of only a small few that offer olive. They were a little rough on the legs at first but washed them a few times and i usually wear shorts under my pants (so i don't have to wear all my dirty gear into jack and the box after a day at the field) and are extremely comfortable. The 2 pod "harness" on the back was a little tough to get pods in/out of at first but i don't really use it, i just left a few pods in it for a few days and it stretched it out enough. The "harness" is great for a quick 3 on 3 or so game so i don't have to wear my whole pack. As for the mesh, i live in the desert in SoCal so the more ventilation the better, and good-decent padding in all the right areas.
Conclusion: Cheaper than Dye, and not too many people rock Evil gear out here. Worth the money!Nothing is perfect though so 9 out of 10

Weaknesses: Harness....?
Review: When I first put the pants on, they were a bit rough. I washed them a few times and wore some basketball shorts underneath. They feel great. Theres mesh in the crotch, knees, ankles and just about any other "hot spot". The "built in harness" is a bit impractical. Maybe if youre a front man, it only holds two pods.
Conclusion: Good pants, but theyre my first pair, so I could be wrong. I dig em though.
