Lightweight and air efficient. This gem weights in at only 25 grams. The stock bolt weights 32 grams. This bolt uses a hollowed shaft for greater air storage and efficiency.
The pillow is made of soft rubber and will reduce the mass applied to the ball at the time of impact.
This is a must have for all ION owners!!!

I ordered this bolt within the first few days of its release from ansgear.com GREAT STORE, there was a problem during processing because to took almost three weeks for it to arrive with usps priority shipping. It took them a little longer to get more of the bolts in than expected. But anyways when it did arrive i immediately notice the difference in weight (7 grams to be exact) and the airflow design wich will reduce any chance of shootdown with the proper settings. This bolt is unbeleviably accurate. I was nailing the inside of a coffee can from FIFTY YARDS AWAY every single time. The Freak barrel and this bolt on the ion are easily some of the best accuracy ups for any paintball gun.
Conclusion:
this bolt increases airflow and seriously reduces the risk of deforming or actually breaking brittle paint inside your ion. It increases accuracy and lowers the sound level of your gun also.

Review:
Used this bolt for about three months and a great three months it was. No paint popped the whole time I used it, even with no good field only paint. I was a little strapped and got the cheapest stuff they had and it was crap, but still not one pop.
