This kit is an amazing addition to an already fantastic marker. The EZ kit makes your phantom look awesome, and with it comes the comfort of undercocking. To me it feels like the pump stroke is a bit lightened, but i cannot be sure. However, this kit is great, and the price is right too!
The Wevo Paintball EZ Glide Undercocking Kit is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.
Rebalances the marker
More ergonomic location
Looks great, in my opinion
The pump handle is rather small
Rebalances the marker
I recently received two of these kits, one for each Phantom. Bolted them on as per the instructions and they were ready to go.
I'm loving the kit so far. Installation is a breeze, instructions are pretty clear if you need them. The kit seems sturdy, and after RRFireblade's demonstration I think we can rest safely on the strength of the insert holding the guide rod in place.
The pump handle is small, about the same size as the mini pump handle, so buyer beware if you have large mitts.
The pump kit also changes the balance of the marker, which is both a positive and a negative. Really, it all depends on how comfortable you are with the original balance and weight of the marker.
Overall, I'd say pick one up if you're interested in an undercocking kit. They definately get a thumbs up from me. "

Black VSC Phantom, CCM 86 / CZ frame, Wevo EZ-Glide Undercocking kit, CCI T-stock, 8" CCI barrel bored for Freak inserts (by Odell's Paintball).
Improved comfort level, decreased evidence of un-threading of barrel during play.
Maintenance - more difficult to assemble, but worth it.
The greatest strength of the Wevo kit is the comfort that it affords the user. It just makes the Phantom more comfortable to use. I can't claim any increase in performance really aside from decreased proclivity of the barrel coming loose in the receiver during play that I've experienced using the standard CCI (over the barrel) type pump assembly. When I used the CCI over the barrel pump I have experienced on occasion that the barrel would come loose / un-thread from the receiver of the gun - the Wevo kit eliminates that phenomenon and makes the gun more comfortable to shoot in my opinion.
I highly recommend the EZ-Glide Wevo Kit. I'm very happy with my purchase and have no regrets at all having purchased it. It makes the gun much more comfortable to shoot and solved a minor problem experienced regarding the barrel coming loose on occasion with the use of the stock CCI pump assembly.
Silver/Ice Blue Gloss Anodizing
Vertical Air with 3.5oz Tank
Freak Barrel, All American front 12"
Stainless Freak Inserts, Polished
18" Muzzle Brake Barrel (bored for Freak inserts)
Wevo Undercocking Kit
One Piece Feed
Blackpoint Combat Stock
BSA Silver Red Dot Scope
Palmer Stabilizer Sideline
Increases Difficulty of Assembly/Disassembly
Anodizing Isn't Great
Screw Hole Drilled Off Center
The Wevo Undercocking kit is nice. It's moderately priced, and improves the feel of the Phantom. They are available in anodized aluminum, black delrin (UHMW), or clear acrylic.
The real reason I got the undercocking kit was to eliminate marring on my barrel. Dirt gets caught between the pump and the barrel and mars both. This is particularly ugly when your pump is clear. The undercocking kit effectively solves this problem.
The kit increased the ergonomics of my Phantom and made it look better, too. I recommend it, but it will add weight to your marker, and it will make it difficult to disassemble and assemble. My kit came with crappy, blemished anodizing. It also came with an off center screw hole, which makes it hard to install the kit
I don't think the construction is as good as it could be, but it works very well. I'm getting mine re-anodized. The acrylic and delrin kits look good, though, because they aren't anodized. The pump looks fine unless you look really closely. However, I'm a perfectionist.
I recommend it. The kit is certainly a good choice if you want to protect your barrel, make the marker easier to hold, and add to its individuality and aesthetic appeal. I give it an eight, mainly because of the offset screw hole and the crappy anodizing. I love it, though.
Red 45 VSC phantom with red UC kit, red triggershoe, red t-stock
Undercocking, Light smooth pump, looks, cost
The screw loosens up a little.. no big deal
Got the UC phantom package from wevo, first time using the gun i was instantly amazed by the phantom. The UC kit especially, i wasnt one for buying a gun and having the barrel get marked up from the pump handle. UC kit fixes that since it doesnt even touch the barrel. Small pump with a smooth and light pump stroke, very good looks.
A very clean product, well worth the price and to me a must for any phantom. So impressed im going to buy a open class UC phantom.
get this products definatly a great buy.
Ryan & Jeremy, thanks for great product, customer service and getting me my package before a event for me on a very short deadline.
Such a great buy, looks great, feels great. Nice addition to a already stunning gun. I had nothing but compliments from the ppl that seen this gun due to the UC kit. Not many ppl heard of it but after seeing it said they were going to be looking into getting some.

my freind has this on his red/black acid was VSC. with the cci acid wash, the wevo red anoo isnt really teh same, not very close. the cci is a deep red, the wevo is a lighter more orange-red. however if you get wevo to acid wash them im sure it would be more exact.
the pump is smooth, but i would say about the same as a standard phantom. different feel though. i would say a phantom's stroke is more afected by the condition of the internals, because mine is pretty darn smooth but my freinds there is something noticably different about how his gun slides. its definitely the internals.
feel- the pump does have some side to side play because there is nothin going around the barrel, and it only has 2 rods, not 3 like a chipley (which has no side play). its not bad, but its there. not noticable during playing.
these are all minor things though. the main difference is the way it feels. it weighs the gun a little differently, and is a completely new feel when holding it. your hand is lower, and in a different position to pump. some may like, some may not. the handle is small, so you guys with big old bear claws probably wont like it. it does make disassembly harder too.
All in all a good product if you like the feel. i think my freinds phantom looks cool with it, its its not really any better or worse than stock, just different.
