Review:
Ok so i got my parts from DW today and i must say i am impressed. The body kit has an amazinf finish on it, very well done. It is of course heavyer then the stock body but i think the looks make up for it. It cost me 80+shipping to get the body, and i think the cost is just about right givin the quality of the product.
Key Strengths:
Looks - Looks amazing, like a $1000 gun.
Strong- This wont chip or scratch like the plastic stock body
BOB- This is REALLY handy for cleaning and lubeing the bolt. I can have the bolt out in about 1 min withough having to take out the bord or the internals.
No leaks- i was a little skeptical at first about the BOB system not having a rear doughnut in the gun, i was pleastly suprised when i gased up the gun and there were no leaks.
Key Weaknesses:
Weight - its about 2lbs of metal so if your looking to cut weight you might wana look into another product.
Sizeing - for some reasion after i installed this body kit i found it very hard to intall the bord back into the trigger frame. I also punched out the trigger so the frame might have bent do to that im not sure. Also the holes in the bottom dont exactly line up with the gripframe holes, so a little wiggling is required to get the screws throug.
Conclusion:
Very nice upgrade for the Ion if you want somthing a little more snazy then the stock plastic. Givin it a 9 due the the sixeing issue, once again this could be my fault and not the product so please dont base your disision off that. Nice product, would recomend.

Strengths:
Looks, trigger.
Weaknesses:
None.
Review:
its my 1st entry into tournament ready guns. so i thought, and ion is a good choice, but i thought it always looked like a toy, so i decided to get a kit, that comes with the ion with the new body built in.
so i found the negative.
after itwas finally delivered ( mine was made to order ) i got it out of the box to have a feel of it straight away, its really good, a nice weight, heavier than the original ion due to the Aluminium body.
the trigger is fantastic, no extra movment, REALLY sensitive and fully adjustable, also aluminium and painted the same colour as body. the same as the included s rail and reg.
the 14" carbon fibre barrel that comes with it is insanly light, loads lighter than my Dye Ultralite for my A5, and it comes with a 689 insert.
