| Review: |
This was my very first gun and the only reason i got it was because my cousin gave it to me. Unfortunatly he gave it to me and i had to use it my first time playing. i can't even begin to describe how bad this thing is. so first of all the thing breaks every time i go to play, the bolt scratches way to easy, its inaccurate, when i was running with is balls fell out of the barrel and sometimes when i shot balls would still roll out. this gun also can't shoot fast at all the trigger pull really far apart. i don't see how or why this was on the market. this gun sux even for noobs no one should ever buy this gun. |
| Conclusion: |
Again this gun sucks for noobs don't buy this gun in fact this gun is so bad its almost a waste of time to write this reveiw. and if you say this is unhelpful tell me why because i want to know why you would think this is a good product at all. and also if anyone knows how to shorten the trigger pull please PM me. |

Recommended Upgrades: |
handle
barrell (32 degrees - "night stick" would be nice)
maybe an expansion chamber or gas-thru grip |
| Strengths: |
simple, relatively easy to clean
not ugly or fancy
doesn't break too many balls |
| Weaknesses: |
loud
WEAK handle/trigger
no grip
shiny (i play in woods) |
| Review: |
this gun isn' bad for the price i got it for - 40 (inluding tank, hopper, 12in progessive barrell = good deal) which might mean it was already messed up
the biggest problem is the very weak handle. i was unscrewing the trigger and all the sudden i broke it off. i though i might of been mr.universe at first but i relized there were already cracks in the middle of the handle and where the the front end screwed into the gun. sometimes i have to clean it when it gets hit in the side cocking system.
| Conclusion: |
i feel like my gun is falling apart. but it was cheap and i probly got the very special version from the kid down the street (the messed up version). the rating i give is 5 because its average. i dont see how so many products are above average... |

Ive used the spyder xtra and imagine and they were both good but the only one better was the imagine |

I Hae a spyder compact 2-1 all stock, but not for long cause im getting an A-5 |
Recommended Upgrades: |
I dont know much about the upgrades |
| Strengths: |
This gun is very acurate and a good beginners gun cause its light and durable |
| Weaknesses: |
None really |
| Review: |
This gun is very good but it isnt quite strong enough for me any more so im selling it. It is a light and durable gun believe me ive seen people that beat the pulp out of theirs. It is also very acurate so if you got a rough shot its a good gun for but you cant be to far away. It is very good for close range combat because of its double trigger. |
| Conclusion: |
Overall its a good begginers gun and I already explained why. |

We're spyder freaks! |
| Marker Setup: |
I have a Spyder compact 2000 2 in 1 java edition (long name!) i use a 20 once co2 tank |
Recommended Upgrades: |
I strongly recommend a longer barrel compared to the little midget 10' barrel it comes with. |
| Strengths: |
Shoots straight, very long distances if you put a longer barrel on it. |
| Weaknesses: |
And get an electric hopper to prevent it from chopping up paintballs. |
| Review: |
This is a great gun. i am completely happy with it. i haven't even thought about get a new gun. this gun is also long lasting. just get a longer barrel and an electric hopper. it has never let me down and it won't let you down either. I have a friend who also has this gun he loves it to he has no problem with it at all. |
| Conclusion: |
i recommend this gun to anyone who is even thinking about getting this gun. IF you don't have the money rob a 7elven! if your not into paintball get it anyway. |

This is a great gun for starters because it is great right out of the box, but its potential is almost unequaled. You can put so many upgrades on it that it'll make your head spin, including things like ELCD Grips for shooting full auto. |
| Weaknesses: |
No foregrip, snap shooting can be tough
Stock barell sucks |
| Conclusion: |
Great gun, buy it if you want to try paintball and are thinking about it seriously enough that you want to upgrade it. |

This gun was the first gun i got. I got it about 4 years ago and i fell in love with it at first. Little did i know i would become to not like it. I Always took good care of it and then it started to stop working. The gun just broke on me. It is a bad gun i am constantly fixing it and it is un reliable |
| Conclusion: |
Do not get it it falls apart to much. Start with a tippmann they do not need any maintenance like this gin does |

| Weaknesses: |
trigger play..try and modify it a bit..you'll like it better |
| Review: |
This is my first marker...I like it alot. i have upgraded it a bit and it has made it a better and more reliable marker. Great for whatever kind of paintball you're in. If you do get this gun you shouldn't be disappointed. Also, some people think to be good you need to waste money on an expensive marker..not true. this gun can do the same thing as any other marker and thats shoot paint and hit the person you are aiming at. Its all in the player not the marker. |
| Conclusion: |
Its a good gun..you dont need an autococker to win. ive taken out many players with fancy guns. so dont waste money on something nice looking..look for quality and you will find a great gun |

| Strengths: |
shoots great, lightweight, looks good, very accurate |
| Weaknesses: |
cold weather sensitive (without bolt), loud, hard to find drop with offset |
| Review: |
ive had my spyder for about 2 years and out of about 40 games with it its performed better under cold and hot conditions than my friends cockers and tippmanns its the best gun that ive ever shot up till now and its accurate as long as you upgrade most of the stuff like bolt and barrel i also noticed the stock bolt will chop balls no matter what barrel your usin. you should upgrade your bolt any way hehe |
| Conclusion: |
this spyder kick a** in my opinion as long as you wanna put a few bucks into it plus you can always find cheap parts anywhere that are worth buying but thats true about any gun :) |

nice gun, good for beginners, cheap, doesnt chop much unless your using 6month old paint, good on gas, like most people say the trigger frame comes loose after a while but thats fixable, the trigger pull is long although if your good at modding pb markers you can shorten that :) |
| Conclusion: |
good first gun love it never had a real problem |

VL Trion, works basically same as 2 in 1, differnt style body and top cocking bolt assembly. |
| Marker Setup: |
Spyder Electra '05 w/HPA (empire cover) w/ z drop, with Halo B/QLoader hoppers. Wearing the blue EVIL '06 jersey and pants. |
Recommended Upgrades: |
QLoader is good, but can be tought to load, HPA is a must, plus it's cheaper than CO2. Go with some sort of drop, but I recommend the Z for comfort, although it is slightly heavy. |
| Strengths: |
Batteries don't die in midst of battle. |
| Weaknesses: |
This marker likes to break bolts, but 32 degrees has plenty of them for you. |
| Review: |
This was my first marker. I shopped around and around and around and listened to a few of my friends who were already into paintball pretty heavily. One recommended going with Spyders because of their reliability so I went with Kingman.
I have no disappointments with this one save for the bolts breaking on me. My old trusty 2 in 1 has served its time in war and is ready for retirement, but I do bring it onto the field every now and then to remember my roots.
I added a few upgrades through the years and the best by far was the gas thru grip with a tactical drop forward. It allowed better CO2 (yes, I still use CO2 with this one) flow and the drop forward allowed for more comfort in shouldering the marker.
The 2 in 1 has a side cocking bolt, which I really don't care for. The main reason for this dislike is that I've lost several cocking bolts through the years. Good quantities of lock-tite have served me, along with the occasional screw/bolt from the local hardware store.
| Conclusion: |
This was/is a good overall starter marker in the fact that it is easy to strip, clean and reassemble. This factor has came in handy as several times I have taken hits in the hopper, breaking one or two balls therein, and needing to strip the marker for better play during a field day. |
