Special Ops Paintball Blackcell ION Q-Bow Kit Reviews
Turn your Smart Parts™ Ion™ into a paintball sniper’s customized “dream machine” with the Blackcell Ion Q-Bow Kit from Special Ops Paintball. Featuring the low-profile looks and functionality of the q-loader, the durable Longbow buttstock, and renowned Blackcell body kit, the Blackcell Ion Q-Bow is an efficient, durable woodsball marker that is a favorite among the sniper crowd.
The Longbow stock's sleek design and efficient air-thru functionality make it an ideal choice as a member of the Blackcell Ion’s family of buttstock solutions. The ergonomic Longbow stock is constructed from strong, ultra-light tubular aluminum to provide a compact, ultra-lightweight shooting platform that complements the overall looks of the Ion, and can greatly augment your performance on the field through enhanced accuracy.
The Blackcell Ion* body is made from the same super-durable, nylon plastic that’s used for real firearms, and gives you the ability to run sights, flashlights, night-vision and other tactical accessories. Four-inch weaver side rails are also available for the Blackcell.
(NOTE: Side rail mounting requires drilling pilot holes for screws in the body kit.)
The Ion is an outstanding paintball gun that is becoming more and more popular on the woodsball field. By combining the impressive traits of the Ion with the looks and functionality of the Blackcell Q-Bow Kit, you truly get the best of both worlds.
The Blackcell Ion Q-Bow Kit can easily be installed on your Ion, and does not require any permanent modifications to the original Ion marker.

The Q-Bow kit for the Ion is a must have for anyone who sneaks around, and wants firepower, a low-profile, versatility, and range. Spec Ops has really outdone themselves on this modification. The ability too add a scope or red dot increases your accuracy on an already accurate platform. This gun is a credit to the minds at spec ops and their design team. The Q-Bow is a great mod kit that will allow you to keep up with the fastest of tourney guns, at a woodsball level. The kit includes everything you need to change your ion from simple, to a high end woodsball marker in a matter of about an hour of changing the body kit and slapping on the stock and q-loader. This gun is not only extremely functional, but it is also extremely SEXY!! You will get all the girls if you buy this!!... not really, but it is very sexy and it adds to the realism of the scenario game, and make things more fun for everyone.
I Give the Q-bow a 10 not because it is perfect, but because i cant give it a 9.8. Nothing is ever perfect, but spec ops came near close. The only things i dont like about the Q-Bow is the weight when trying to free fire , and how it can be too long at times, but dont let this discourage you! It is an excellent mod kit. If interested def give it a try! You will never look back!!
When i first saw this thing, my jaw dropped. i had always wanted a sniper designed marker. this thing had everything I needed, from a low profile and clear sight rail to a well built ergonomic stock. When it arrived, I slapped it on quick as ever. The only difficulty I had was screwing the ASA adapter for the air-thru stock and fitting on the Q-loader adapter for the magwell. After checking velocity and adjusting a few things, I was ready to hit the field. However, when i picked it up, it felt a little on the heavy side towards the front
I hit the field with this thing and from the get go had an amazing time with it. I was picking off people with my laser sight from positions that other people couldn't fire from without scoring a hopper hit. People dropped left and right from shots i was putting downrange. However, the temperature was 93 F, so a few balls got jammed in the Q-loader. However, later on in the day, I was taking frequent breaks to rest my arms. Hauling this thing around was putting strain on my left arm (my trigger hand is my right hand).
I found out that AIC makes a part that lets you move the Q-loader to a different spot on the marker, so I slapped that on and moved my Q-loader to the side.
This thing fires like a dream. It has a nice, low profile that only a pump marker could give, with a rate of fire that matches most tourney markers. My only isue was with the weight distribution. With most firearms, weight should be towards the back so it rolls up easy onto the shoulder. However, with a fully loaded Q-loader, the weight dipped to the front.
I give it a 9 only because of the weight and its distribution. aside from that, the Q-bow has my full endorsement as an amazing marker system
