| Review: |
Spyder has done a Great job with their VS series. They upped the standard for affordable paint ball. The electronic eyes on this marker are great; I shot six hoppers of paint at a rapid rate of fire and not one break. (Roughly that is around 1200 paint balls now that's impressive. )The Firing mode membrane is easy to use and simple enough for anyone. And the improvements on the Derlin bolt are equally as impressive. The trajectory is flatter than ever, and due to the reduction in weight and friction the bolt is able to sustain higher rates of fire without freezing up. Also Field cleaning is so much easier now with the redesigned bolt. The engineers at Kingmann deserve a pat on the back for the VS Series, they were able to maintain the integrity of the marker and at the same time transition it into the fore front of paint ball. It competes on every level as its more costly competitors. Thank You Kingmann for understanding if it’s not broke don’t fix it. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
It is a awesome maker and easy to maintain like all spyders . it will go heads up with anything out there (way better that an ion) |

| Review: |
When I first got this gun I read the manual and had no idea what was what. So I started working with the gun and tried shooting it. The gun came with a VS1, battery, battery charger, barrel plug, allen keys, O rings, stock barrel. When I first shot it i was very surprised because the accuracy was incrediable. This gun works fine and is very strong. The only bad things is the colour you get in because there arent many choices about its colour. I was going to buy the spyder pilot but the VS1 is alot newer, better and is tournament legal. You also have a Tournament lock which you can turn on and it lets you only shoot semi and burst--just for a tournament. This is easy to reasemble outside and the inside. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I would recommend this gun to anyone who is thinking about being a serious paintball player who wants a gun that lasts a long time and a gun that works good in both speedball and scenario games. If you are smart buy this gun. If you a stupid go buy a ion that looks like trash =) |

| Review: |
Ok, i got this gun today from paintball discounters for like $144.00, well worth the price. I took it outside and hooked up the barrel i ordered for it. (J&J 20") so, first thing I noticed was the speed, I'm atleast reaching 13-15 bps. The stock barrel is acctually better than most. The eyes work great, the only thing i dont like is the feed neck. You have to use one of those elbows that raise your hopper by like 2". Anyways, I was shooting a grouping the size of a softball at 30', (not w/ stock barrel). Not Bad. After tweaking the trigger to where you could blow on the trigger it would shoot, i was ripping with it. For my second electro marker, I am tottaly impressed. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I like it, it seemes to be good for any type of play. Get one before one get you. |

| Review: |
It is very fast for an entry-level marker, versatile, and durable I use it for both woodsball and speedball. The first feature I would like to talk about is the new improved bolt by removing the venturi from the bolt and putting in a 45 degree angle in it .It makes the trajectory of the paintball truer. I also like the way the bolt quickly disconnects by just pulling the pin and sliding it back. The eyes worked very well also this is a big plus for a marker that is under $150. The firing mode membrane is also a great feature it is easy to use and simple enough for anyone each button pulls double duty. This marker just handles well. Great rate of fire never feels like you're outshooting your gun. All I have to say about this marker is wow.
This marker is a great value for any paintball enthusiast. I coupled my paintball marker with a BT Apex barrel system. I am now tearing apart A-- 5s with flatline barrels, and not to mention outshooting them too. I love it. Half the price, twice the performance you can't go wrong with that. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Wow!
The Spyder VS1 is a great paintball gun. |

AWESOME
I really like this thing for the money its awesome. I wanted something for both speedball and woodsball that was tough and cheap and I found it. It operates fine on co2 but I would watch my ROF because as we all know when u shoot to fast C02 enters your gun without expanding from its liquid state to gas and breaks your o-rings(yes even with the expansion chamber it will still do this).I get over 800 shots with my 48/3000 when they only advertise that you get as many as 600 so I am quite impressed. It has a fair amount of kick when shooting fast with my hpa tank but still quite accurate. I can comfortably shoot 15bps(good luck shooting 20) with no chops as long as u have a decent hopper. The stock barrel is decent if you don't have money or just don't feel like upgrading it it's playable. No air leaks but the expansion chamber and whole front block are a little loose but not noticeable when playing. I wanted to get a regulator for it but I would have to buy a new frontblock because of the way the expansion chamber is mounted. However the way it is mounted shows a lot of improvement over previous Spyders because it is definitely higher flowing.the color is blue but in the right light it can look purple so the color isn't great I would have liked to see a fade option or at least a true dark blue. The feed neck was missing when I got mine brand new so the lady at paintballgear got kingman to send me one. to compensate for my inconvenience they sent me a clamping vs2/3 neck which I love. Way better than having your hopper 3 ft. above your head. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
get it get it get it !
Cheap, efficient, reliable and a marked improvement over previous Spyders. |

| Review: |
Ok I shot it this morning, and here's my thoughts :
Precision
No as precise as the VS2. The stock barrel is correct, but could be better.
Feeling
Easy to shoot, eyes are working well. I tried it with my Vlocity Jr without any problems. It shoot like other spyders, comparable to a Pilot ACS. However the stock trigger of the VS1 feels much more comfy compared to the pilot, IMO. Also the stock feedneck require a straight elbow, which isn't that great. An upgrade will be required there in the future.
This thing kick like any other spyders (Pilot, Xtra, Sonix). It is not low pressure, so it have more recoil than VS2-VS3. Also it is louder than VS2-3, like normal spyders.
Speed
The stock board is capped to 20bps : no one can shoot that constantly. But in some bursts, you can get it and do faster. I noticed that this morning. On my VS2 I had never the impression of outshooting the marker, but I have this impression sometimes on the VS1. When I do some fast burst shot, the balls got out very constantly, which means I got the capped on the board. Not a big deal, because it's still pretty fast though. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
The VS1 is a great marker for the bucks. If you can't affort HPA, then it is THE choice. It is fast, light, easy to use and have eyes. Even if it's louder than VS2-3 and have more kick, it is comparable to any other HP blowbacks (Tippmanns, Spyder classic series, Pirahnas, etc.) It makes a great backup marker in my case (always in case I cannot use my HPA tank), and should be the top choice for any beginners. |

| Review: |
This a great gun. Its very very fast, and rarely chops, due to the anti-chop eyes. Spyder re-designed the bolt on the VS series, now there is a much better flow of air through the bolt and I've noticed a lot more distance and a flatter trajectory with this new bolt. The ball detents are rubber, so they'll be cheaper to replace. Another nice feature about the bolt is it can be removed right out the top of the gun, this is very handy if you accidentally chop a ball in the middle of the game. Works flawlessly on Co2, doesn't freeze up due to the expansion chamber. The only bad thing I can think of is cleaning the eye holes when you break a ball in the breach. One more nice thing Spyder did is supply a lot of replacement parts with this gun, like trigger frame screws, a detent, o rings, an eye cover screw, and screws that hold the rubber grips to the grip frame. The manual is also pretty descriptive. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I reccomend this gun to anyone. It is very inexpencive but shoots like it is expensive. |

| Review: |
I bought this gun out of my better judgment at my local PB store, and I couldn't be happier.
Looking at the $150 price tag was intimidating (for me), but I went with it after chatting with the store guys for a while about it. I play woodsball and the occasional game of reball so I needed a gun that was tough, and wouldn't die in the middle of a really long game. This gun does that.
I had never actually used an electronic gun before this one, so I suspect if I got my hands on a better gun I wouldn't be so pumped about having it, but for those of you who are bargain hunters like me, and don't have piles of cash for one of those fancy guns, buy this one and I swear by it you won't be disapointed.
It isn't picky on paint
Hasn't chopped through two cases of paint (yet)
Very efficient on Co2
The gun is loud I'll agree, but loud being a pitfall is all a matter of play style. Whether your gun is quiet or not won't matter, since as most know once you shoot your position is compromised anyway. I like the loud noises that come from the gun, and many a peep have told me it was very intimidating to have all this paint coming their way from such a loud gun. So, you want it quieter, then buy compressed air, and a longer barrel. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
If you play woodsball and play a more aggressive role, where you're always rubbing bellies with the other team, this is your gun. If you lay in the brush waiting for someone to walk by and take the first shot you give, then, This is NOT your gun. Buy a "sniper" gun. Obviously this gun was designed for speedball, but I have no experience with it there. Nine out of ten because the battery is useless anyways, and the grips are POS's too. |

| Review: |
This gun is a nice gun for beginners. If you're just starting out, this is the gun for you. Although it looks kinda weird, the performance is great. And before you know it you'll like the way it looks. The feedneck is Ion threaded like the other VS series guns so if you don't want to deal with those pesky plastic elbows, go looking for feednecks for the Ion. (Smart Parts Q-lock or Trinity T-lock is recommended) The ASA is not an on/off one and is sangled down. I don't like that so I would change it for an on/off ASA. (It's a dovetail frame so don't get direct mount) For those of you who want to make this thing an awsome gun, heres an upgrade list:
#1. Feedneck. Any of your choice.
#2. ASA. Again, any of your choice but make sure it's an on/off ASA
#3. Barrel. Any of your choice.
#4. Regulator. I would do a Bob Long one but it's your choice.
#5. Macroline.
#6. Board and/or frontblock. (VS frontblock made by Trinity is the only one)
But as a begginner gun, it works solid and it's very dependible. It's accurate and it won't brake easy. |

Great gun. |

I was probbably one of the first people to buy a vs1.
It was really cheap back then, plus my gun was bad well not really bad i just wanted to upgrade (gti) so i saved some money 200 for the vs1 and the reloader 2.
The first time i tryed it was on a field called north shore paintball.I was bored so i ran up half way up the field to a bunker under a hill. i ran up the hill and went kamakazi oneverybody.I went through a whole hopper in the first 5 minutes .I didnt like the kick so i had to run up to get half of the people before i got hit. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
If you want a gun with eyes that does not chop paint and want to go through a entire hopper in 5 minutes get the vs1 trust me. |
