I got this from Special Ops paintball not long after getting my new A-5.
It looks awesome, and its refreshing to see a stock different from all the M4 style stocks everybody has these days. When I brought this to the field i got a lot of complements and some people couldn't even recognize it was an A-5.
But the foregrip was a huge pain in the ass. After trying to put it on for a good two hours, I brought it to the local pro shop to see what they could do. Alas, it was to no avail as I saw the guy do the same things I did eventually gave up.
Then I brought it to the field and as a last resort, I gave it to the guy there. And yet again he did the same thing in the same order and failed like the previous couple attempts.
See, the problem with the foregrip is that you must apply it on top of the supplied air line. Once you figure out how to reposition the tombstone so that the line faces away from the trigger you have to somehow jam the foregrip on top of it. Even the instructions described this part as difficult, but didnt say much to help. As far as I -or any of the aforementioned people who have given this a shot- can tell is that there is no way to do this without modifying some part in some way. |

| Conclusion: |
Awesome looks, not so easy assembly. That foregrip REALLY pissed me off, but if you think you can do it, buy this stock. |

Great view from back of marker even with Vents or JT Spectra Goggles on
Come on SpecOps put something a more compatible and a lot less pain in the future. However, this could be a Tippmann thing since the two companys mereged. I don't know.
Neither of my 32 degree remotes connect properly to the nipple used. I had to take the female end off of my remote and put the one that came with this one. Therefore If you are like me with two remotes you may want to replace the male connection in the long run.
However, If you put a 90 degree connection on at the tomestone addapter I believe you can avoid the man handling required to put this on. Making it easier to clean if you do this.
Is currently worth the effort due to how sweet this looks when asymbled. This can get to be fustrating if you have to clean paint off while at the field and if your marker gets hit a bit by your bad luck or after a weekend senario event having to break down the marker can get to be a pain in the but.
P.S. It always stands to reason after I search and search for this product in varrious ways it is after I post this one that I find another posting of this.
Another P.S.
I used this bad boy at the NJ Nam on June 1, 2, 3rd and thank you Spec Ops. This was an amazing help luging the A-5 around the field. The popup u-bar allows me to keep my arm from being bunched up while walking and pops down real quick when I put it into place to fire. It is strong as a rock and takes a beating well in the thick woods at Accurate Paintball. I may still get a sling to see if that will help out with the carry bit. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Well worth it, I tried a few other stocks on the A-5 but hated them. I did not feel comforble with them to my face with a marker on. At the TTPL I asked to hold a guy who had a Saw stock on his and I like the way it felt |
