Completely designed from the ground up by paintball professionals that want a clean and simple solution to all pod problems. From this, the Proto Harness was born. Anatomically correct back padding system allows for a completely uninhibited range of motion, while still providing the level of comfort every player is dying to have in a harness. Designed to be worn around your waist to provide you with extra back support. Elastic straps to help release our pods into your open hand. No detail is missing. New for 2006--Micro-mesh venting in the back panel and vented elastic to keep the heat off when the pressure is on. A more aggressive Velcro pattern and wider positioning ensure a non-slip fit.

Review:
This pack is by far the best pack I've ever used, and can be argued best available. It fits exceptionally well, and will not, yes, WILL NOT come lose. There are three separate straps that need to be fastened for this pack to be "put on". And on top of that, its very, very comfortable.
The 3+2 set up is very cool, the photo above shows the 3 main pods, but in between those, you have 2 more elastic bands that squeeze the pods in place. So if you need a ton of paint or just enough, this will work wonders.
The quick release system does live up to its name, simply begin losing the strap holding the pod in and it shoots out. Note, the quick release is only on the 3 main tubes, not the extra 2.
Conclusion:
If you want a 5 pod pack, that fits very very well, is comfortable, durable and effective at faster loading, get this pack.
