he bolt comes with two different back plugs, so it will fit any of the listed markers. The kit also includes a new bolt mid section, and the L7 bolt head. The idea behind the bolt is to reduce the amount of moving mass inside the marker to reduce recoil, increase efficiency, increase consistency, produce less "drop-off" at high rates of fire, and increase accuracy at high and low rates of fire. We have found the bolt to be even quieter than any other we've tested.

The bolt has passed its beta testing period and as we predicted there are no needed changes to the design.
Product Availability
The TechT DM6 Bolt is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

There is no similar product:-)
Marker Setup: Dm6,techt bolt,tadao board,stiff,cp reg,cp cf plug,ccm feedneck,venom trigger,hybrid on off
Strengths: Less orings
More gentle to paint
Saves air
Less kick
Weaknesses: Ballance between lpr hpr and dwell must be found!
You have to pay for it:-)))))))
Review: This bolt/tophat is definitely the best upgrade for the dm6 or any other matrix marker. The bolt and tophat are well made, better than all other original dm6 bolt/tube parts...there are no sharp edges, everything fits together very tight.
Both parts are anodized,so they dont need to be polished(the bolt)Anodizing is also well made,no problems so far.

What is so great on this part:
People complaining about orings...this is the weakest point of the matrix family...some people decide to get an ego, only because of that...With this bolt you will have 4 o-rings less to take care about. And thats kinda lot.Its much easier to find the worn out oring and replace it...and thats wonderfull...

Markert setting:
After you have installed your bolt, your marker will start to work different. The lpr will be responsible for moving the bolt backwards, the hpr is responsible for the forward movement.
Dwell can be set very low(4-10)
The user must find the best ballance between lpr,hpr and dwell.

My gun is running on 3 ½ lpr and 9dwell units...
The marker has less kick....at least 15% and virtually kisses the paint...

Comparison:

Stock bolt dwell set at 17(less is not possible) and lpr 1 ½ turns vs techt lpr set at 3 ½ and dwell 9.
Result:
Techt equipped marker has less kick and deals more gentle with paint.Thats a hard argument! With this bolt it´s possible to shoot the most brittle paint!!!!No other gun can match the tech t bolt equipped matrix.

Disadvantage:
You have to tune the whole system, which is not difficult ,but not idiotproof. But its kinda easy...you need some time to play with...thats fun:-)

A proper tuned techt bolt will also save some air and will allow you to blast few more pots out...i counted about 5,which is a huge improvement, too.

I gues these 80 bucks are the best investment into your gun...forget stupid fashion stuff like grips and other bogus, which will bring nothing...

Recap:

+ More air efficient
+ Less kick
+ Less orings
+ Bolt cycles faster
+ More gentle to paint
+ Perfect customer service by techt staff

- Ballance between lpr hpr and dwell must be found
- You have to pay for it:-)

Conclusion: It´s a great step forward to make the perfect even better...i have nothing else to say about:-)

Review: I was able to aqquire one of these bolts from a friend of mine who reps for the company. now, that might make you think that i am a biased opinion, but really, from all honesty this is the single best bolt i have come across for the matrix line of guns.

this bolt will change how your marker works. it raises the pressure, but lowers the dwell dramatically. your dwell ends up around 5 milliseconds.

the bolt only weighs about 10 grams so there is almost no inertia behind it to break a ball.

it will change the sound signature of your marker to a shorter, quieter thump. when you throw a rope, your marker practically purrs.

there is LITTERALLY no kick.

i get a hopper and 5-6 pods on a 48/45 tank.

so far this is the best upgrade i have ever had on any matrix.
Conclusion: It is absolutely worth the money. most people will argue that bolts are not worth it, but honestly, i shoot my gun practically stock except this bolt and an aftermarket trigger and it rips like none other.

Experience:

Similar
Products Used:
Stock bolt, Lucky bolt
Marker Setup: DM7, Stock board, 68/45 tank with FUKU reg and a reloader B
Strengths: Virtually no kick with this in the marker
Weaknesses: Absolutly would not chrono in any where near 300 fps.
Review: The stock bolt is just fine. I would save the $90 and keep the bolt you have. This makes the gun work like an Ion. I don't know anyone who would spend $1400 on an ion, so why use this bolt. It was very inconsistant unless the velocity was terribly high or terribly low. There is absolutly no kick, but the gun wouldn't shoot any where near the 300 fps mark.
Conclusion: Save your money, keep the stock bolt. It is just fine
