BE Eradicator- Good starter gun, but since BE is crap, i dont reccomend it.
Tippmann 98 Custom- Very accurate with DBX practice grade paintballs, Very good gun( you wonder why most fields use this for rentals)
Marker Setup: Kingman/Spyder Shutter "Java Edition" ,16 inch DYE Ultralite Barrel.
*Soon Coming*-- 2004 Bushmaster BKO, 12v Revy, CenterFlag 68/4500 LP HPA tank, DYE Tank cover<---- gunna be kicking some boo-tay now.=)

Upgrades:
Grips-the grips are designed after the .45 grips, they can be upgraded very easly by getting DYE stickey grips of the internet. Barrel- The Kingman/Spyder Shutter Java edition come with a standard, stock 12in barrel. The Red/Chrome Shutter comes with a chrome barrel as well the Blue/Chrome does to. The Black/Chrome comes with a black 12in barrel. A barrel can be upgraded by getting a new one of the internet, as most people do.
Strengths: *Review*
Weaknesses: *Review*
Review: The Key Strengths-

*Accuracy* The Kingman/Spyder Shutter can easily hit anything that you want it to. With proper matienance, you can achieve great accuracy. And if you clean your gun after every game, it will maintain its accuracy. This isnt your "I can hit a running rabbit with a $3 dollar pistol" but close to it. Of course the gun, is just as accurate as your ordinary Bob Long Intimidator, or your WPD Angel. It could (and probably can) outshoot any rich, stuck up kids Bob Long, or any other fancy shmancy $1000 dollar gun. Its not the price, its your commitment to choosing the right gun.

*Reliability* This gun is one of the most reliable guns I have used yet. Yeah, your going to get a couple of paint breaks here and there, but nothing a squeeqee cant handle, right? I have chopped 10-20 balls with this gun in a period of 1 year(depends on what kind of paint you are using, I use Big Ball, but most were oddly shaped or i was firing faster than the gun could handle). The gun is made 99% metal(1% for the plastic grips) which makes this gun very sturdy and feesl like its been put together by professionals who know what they're doing.

*Price* While most kids go for the high tech, look like a lazer gun $1000 dollar paintball marker, I go for the qualtiy and the price( definatly not over $500)of how much the gun is and how well it may performs. It doesnt have to be the "high tech" guns of today, or any other gun well over $500 dollars for you to be the baddest, coolest looking kid on the block, it has to do with the quality and how well the gun is going to perform for your "paintball needs". This gun right now is rated and 8.8/10, while some other guns I've seen are rated well below this and cost more. It's not the price people, its the gun.

*Colors* The Shutter comes in a variety of colors including Red/Chrome and Blue/Chrome. The Spyder Shutter "Java Edition" comes in Black/Chrome and Purple/Chrome. While most guns come in different colors to suit ones needs, when it comes down to the Shutter, the colors are GREAT. They are not dull, or so called "blah", they resemble a ones personaltiy. The colors are a great way to reflect yourself.

The Key Weaknesses-

*Recocking* Im not saying this is pump gun, but once in a while it will not recock maybe once or twice, depending on how much you play. Since ive had my gun, this has only happened 3 times to me. When you fire, it may not recock all the way, which makes it stop firing, and you will wonder why when you pull the trigger, nothing comes out. This may be due to the lack of air efficency that was needed to recock the gun, or it may just be a paintball kind of jammed coming down from the feed. It may do this once in a while, but it is very rare when I use my gun. Just remember, it may occur and be aware that if it does, just pull back the bolt until it recocks and fire away.

*Falling Apart* The gun itself is a very reliable gun, but you may want to read this just to be aware of what can and may happen. While you play, some screws may come lose, and be sure to check them before you play. I have already lost a small allen wrench screw ( you get an extra one when you buy the gun itself). It is a very small black allen wrench screw, that easily falls out if not screwed in tight enough. Im not saying the pieces inside the gun crack and fall apart, but the pieces on the outside may fall off due to wear and tear and the usage of the gun itself. Note: Make sure you keep all nessesary supplies for your gun in you bag, trust me, you will need to make adjustments before and after the game.

*UPDATE* My macroline was leaking a bit. I was playing at LoneWolf and i put my 20oz on and it leaked quite a bit (maybe about 10-20 shots). I went to the building where you can get all your stuff. The owner said that the fitting was not put on properly, and it was a little loose. Then he just fiddled around with it for about 3o seconds and it stopped leaking after that. He didnt use any tools. Just play aorund with it a lil' bit and it should stop leaking. But if ti leaks alot, you might want to consider getting a new macroline or having a professional fix it.

Note: Do not take your gun apart in the woods, you WILL lose something, trust me. ( I almost did, thank god i didnt, PHEW!!)
Conclusion: All in all this gun comes down to the very best of the best of the guns manufactured in the world. Kingman/Spyder, is one of the leading manufacturers in paintball markers and supplies. Keep up the good work Kingman/Spyder, and continue to make your products the coolest and best. For $120, you can get this gun very cheap if you search around a bit, you may even be able to get it cheaper, like I said if you search around on different sites. I hope you will consider and put some thought into buying this marker and if you do, I am very sure you will be pleased with your decision. For the quality this marker has given me so far, i give it a....

Review: First off this is not my marker it is my homie Darrel's. Ive used it in 2 or 3 short games. Stock this gun is decent but could always use some upgrading. The accuracy with new paint using the stock was good but had a few barrel breaks, with older/cheapo paint the accuracy was defiantly nothing to be proud of, causing the occasional curve and a couple of barrel breaks a game. Like most spyders the feed neck needed an elbow and came with a beaver tail. The trigger how ever has such an odd pull. The trigger is extended almost to the end of the trig guard, the pull is short but heavy. Having the gun all stock with a feed elbow, full grav loader and 12oz tank the weight of the gun is pretty light. Also using the 12oz the gun was very effienct getting us almost 700+ shots (a 12oz usually delivers 600 shots). The thing i didn't like about this gun was that it isn't too durable sense my friends broke right in half. He sat on it actually.. trigger frame tore right off the body [he claims his cousin sat on it and not him].. ...
Conclusion: Well its a great starter gun if left stock with such great efficiency. just dont sit on it -.-

Review: The Shutter is one of the best Kingman guns I've seen. I have used mine quite a few time and it has always been very dependable. With a price tag of $120 this gun is excellent, and reasonably priced, for beginner or advanced players. A new barrel gets rid of the slight sound problem, and a Smart Parts ON/OFF valve tank will save you a lot of money in Co2. It works well with Vapor paintballs and Marballizer too. Very few broken balls with either. The Shutter is an all around, great gun. You may have to fiddle with the screw below the Co2 gauge if you have trouble reacocking, but that has only happened once for me.
Conclusion: I recommend this gun to anyone who isn't afraid to rule the course. Its great, and upgradable. BUY THIS GUN

Review: The first day I went to use it the grip and bottomline leaked. So after about a year of fighting the grip and the bottomline with teflon tape i finally just gave up an dplayed vertical. Now the vertical adapter has leak between it and the rest of the gun. I hate this gun. The only good thing about it is that the bolt is nice and doesnt chop.
Conclusion: Dont buy it

Strengths: The shutter is a good beginner gun that han upgraded with little money
Weaknesses: The gauge easily blows out the first time CO2 was put into the ASA
Review: The body is compact with little defects that can change the affects of your fame. With the anti-double feed you don't have to worry about the the double feed and messing up the barrel. The beaver tail comes loose after play so keep a screw drive so keep one on hand at the field.
Conclusion: In general the shutter is a great gun that can upgraded easily and is great gun that can be used for torments or scenario games

Its a good stock gun but If I had to recommend some upgrades. A new barrel and a new bolt would make this already great gun better
Strengths: Works good out of the box
spyder made
Real cheap
good newbie gun
Easy maintenance
Weaknesses: a new barrel would be nice lately I've noticed the accuracy falling below par
Review: I've used several guns, and I find the spyder shutter to be real good gun for its price range. Its a good intro gun in my opinion because it doesn't require much tweaking. In my opinion its the best cheap semi that spyder has to offer. The only other gun that Im as satisfied with is the Tippman 98C. I think its a worthwhile gun and it has enough upgrades to make it compete with all the new guns coming out. Although I've noticed after several months of use the a new barrel would do some good as of lately the barrel on mine has fallen below par.
Conclusion: What else to say besides if you looking for a high quality gun and a cheap price this is it. It has alot to offer and is a worthwhile buy also has alot of upgrades when you want to move up onto something better. No gun is perfect thats why it gets a nine

Conclusion: It is good. Im just repeating stuff now. acurate, inexpensive, only needs barrel

That's pretty much it
Strengths: This gun is awesome ... although this is just a primary review and I have yet to play a game with it, I've been shooting around in my backyard and this gun is awesome. It has a great trigger pull, bangin bolt, the gauge and regulator work fine ... contrary to popular belief, the beaver tail is fine ... not sharp as stated in previous reviews. The drop's aight, nothin special, but it does it's job. This gun is great on co2, i've yet to try it on Nitro, but I'm sure it willl perfrom well nonetheless. Great gun for the money,
Weaknesses: There's honestly nothin I found to be bad. Well not yet at least ... like I said I haven't played a game with it yet, so I don't know how it performs over long periods of time, like the length of a day with 10 or 12 games. I hope nothing goes on me though ... so far, I have faith.
Conclusion: This is a piece of art by the geniuses at Kingman ... once again, they have created an affordable gun, begginer to tournament play, it's a great gun. This is full of upgrade opportunities, not that it needs it, but there's a world of endless modificationos for this gun ... excellent ... go for it!

New Barrel Definitely
Strengths: The Shutter is a gret gun for a beginner.

It is very reliable, I haven't had mine break down yet, even in harsh conditions playing in rain and snow.

This gun is also easy to feild strip. You just pull the pin and you're good to go.

The shutter is also a pretty basic and easy gun to use.
Weaknesses: The only bad thing I could find about the shutter is that it is pretty loud.

Also the stock barrel is terribely inaccurate.
Conclusion: Overall, this gun is very good. Very reliable and easy to use. Highly recommended.
