Finally....its here. The L7 Bolt for the PMR. I know many of you have been waiting patiently for it, and at last the wait is just about over. For those of you unfamiliar with what the L7 Bolt System, it's a bolt system that is designed to be the lightest possible. The L7 is specifically designed to decrease marker "kick" and increase accuracy. All of our bolts run faster and smoother than any other bolt system available. Those that have tested the bolt have said that the kick reduction from this bolt is amazing. At any given pressure and dwell this bolt yields about an extra 10-15 FPS over the stock bolt.

The Proto Rail is a pretty awesome marker. However the marker has a larger amount of kick when set up to shoot 300 FPS. This kick knocks you out of aim, and ultimately makes you shoot more to hit your target. This causes you to win less, and get shot more.

The L7 is designed to change that. Our patent pending "reduced kick/high speed internal system" allows you to stay on target better, shoot faster, and hit the target more quickly than ever before.

You will be amazed at how much better your marker feels and shoots.

Product Availability
The TechT PMR L7 Bolt is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

Review: Well first off, his was my first after market bolt for my proto matrix rail.i have had some solenoid problems and bolt problems.i ordered both off the internet. i installed the new solenoid and the bolt was on back order. it came in a couple days later and i opened it and lubed it(doesn't come lubed) and installed it. It took mere seconds to put it in. I had to wait a couple of weeks to get air so i couldn't wait to shoot it. So being the impatient person i am, i hooked it up to an air compressor that runs at 125 psi and it worked fine. Even though the gun runs at 150-160 psi(this bolt makes it run even lower) it can shoot ropes and rip. After dry firing and getting used to it, i took and did some reball tests. it worked fine in my garage and even though i wasnt using real paint, i was impressed with the results. I took it outside put some paint through it. It had some really bad kick, but it was hooked up to a compressor without a tank to balance it out. i hooked on a tank just to balance it and the kick didnt through me out of aim at all. ball on ball accuracy(tee hee) shot after shot, hopper after hopper. the only thing bad was, if you have stock settings, it will shoot over 320 and you cant bring it down. you have to bring down your dwell to 17-20 instead of the regular 25 or 30. if you do that and have the regulator set at around 2.5 turns, you have a working and great working gun. i had some chopping problems and some barrel break problems because my hopper was only feeding at 17 bps and i was shooting at 25 bps on ramping for fun. other than that, it worked well. very easy to clean and maintain because there are about only 6 o-rings to change and replace when there are like 15 on the stock bolt kit. oh yeah before i forget. the spacers. these were made for the people that like to run their guns at higher pressures. if you have ever seen or heard about the top hat mod or the tape mod, or the garden hose mod, this makes it easier and cheaper to do. you just unscrew tthe top hat back portion and slide them on or off. the good or bad thing is, an o-ring holds them in place so they don't go anywhere and come off without ease. there is also no foot valve on the bolt so there is no boost forward technology. some people have been disputing that without this, there will be a lot of bolt stick. the guide or manual for the bolt says to even turn off the abs system and just run at 20 dwell. you might think there will be a lot of bolt stick too. even when i am running at very fast rates of fire, it doesnt stick at all. the sound signature is also very different and quieter too because it uses less air and is a smaller mass moving at once. i know most or all of the matrix series guns are quiet, but this is so quiet, you can have a conversation over it. the splattering of the paintballs are louder than the firing or cycling of it.
Conclusion: For $80 its a great investment, if you don't have that kind of money, stick with the stock bolt.
another great product by techt products!!! i give it a nine because it works heavenly but a minus one deduction because people have broken them before. so its a little fragile.

Review: The bolt is the size of a large sharpie marker but half the length. There isn't the boost technology stuff anymore so now you just insert the bolt. You screw in all the screws in the back cap because you don't need to guide in the bolt. You don't lube as many orings now. I was out of air when I got it so I had to wait a little while.

I got some air finally today and put the Rail into response mode, thanks to Tadao. This thing really spun some heads when people heard how quiet and fast it was. I just left the gun hooked to the air compressor (paintball one) and ripped on the trigger for like 5 minutes straight. I then took it to the chrono and it averaged +/-5 fps with some 2 year old paint. I was indoors so I didn't get to test accuracy. The air effeciency was pretty good considering I haven't broken in my Hyper 2 reg yet, well after 10,000 shots of air today, I think it is broken in now. Anyway, you can change the operating pressure with the spacers included. Two will yield a high pressure/low volume or none will yield a low pressure/high volume setup. I haven't tried adding the two spacers but suposevly two spacers give better efficiency by reducing how much air is needed to make the bolt cycle.

All in all, the bolt is worth the price of $80 but make sure you by an extra oring kit and the inner top hat orings so you can keep on sinning heads without any problems.

Conclusion: I would recommend this bolt to anyone that is tired of their stock bolt's kick and maintence. Make sure you go online to set up the board settings right and give the bolt/reg to get broken in so the effeciency can get better.

Review: Simply awesome, if you have a PMR you NEED this bolt. The difference is very noticable and well worth the cost. I noticed immediately No more Kick back and less noise. No issue's with installation, the on-line guide makes it so easy. TechT should have thrown in some extra O-rings and maybe a packet of Lube for the same cost. I researched a lot before I decided to buy this. I heard the previous bolt version was not the greatest, but they've fixed that now with this one L7. I had this delivered overnight.
Conclusion: One of the best upgrades to get for your PMR.
