You can uncap ramp.
You can change the kick in rate of which the gun starts to ramp.

Im going to speak of SIMILAR products, so I will not add Tippmans, Ions, Spyders, or naything else not similar to this marker.
1. Shocker (06)- Has a different feel to it then this marker, I did not perfer the Shocker over the Maniac Ego because it just didnt feel as well made, I did not like the spool valve over the poppet, allthough most people agree with me in this, the shocker is a bit lower and is cheaper. Overall though I did not like the Shocker.
2. DM6- Too close to call, both well made guns around the same price. I like the ego's design better personally.
Marker Setup:
Olive/black Maniac Ego, Hybrid Gen 7 grips, DYE Ultralite, VLocity hopper, 68/45 Crossfire HP, Stormtrooper E-Vents, Empire Fastpack harness, Infamous Jersey, JT Pants, BACKUP: Custom ION, 04 dust black Angel speed w/ freak kit and many ups.
Recommended Upgrades:
DYE Ultralite barrel- the stock was off quite a bit, new bolt(i dont know which one, sorry, but I feel the stock one is just a bit on the heavy side.), and Hybrid grips make this gun look great, as they do with every marker.
Strengths:

Review:
After getting my marker, I cleaned it out (Previous owner left some gunk on it, no big deal) and played with the modes on training, and right away I was pleased with the layout, ramping modes were labled as PSP, NPPL, ETC. and not "Ramp x, y, and z" unlike in most markers. This was very helpfull. I also must note that you cannot cheat with this gun. You must open the grip to acess the modes (allthough very easy to do, its no good for cheaters) .I fitted it with the stock barrel and the Vlocity, loaded it with 200 rounds of Xball Gold (no corners cut here), and set it to 25 BPS ramping uncapped. After setting my Vlocity correctly (which took some time due to the brittle paint), I wound up going through the hopper at lightning speed, about 8 seconds. I also must note, this marker was a little off in terms of accuracy, not too much, just slightly. After fitting it with the Dye Ultralite, ill never switch back to the stock barrel (except for photo shoots because it seems much more appealing, other then that its more usefull as a defensive tool incase somebody trys to ninja your gear in the parking lot). This gun nailed ball on top of ball about 35 yards away. Truly a site to see.
After taking it to the field my game has improved, and everybody wants to try my marker out, and I let them, and when they do, they want to buy it. Its a real attention grabber with the Maniac board and all. People surround you and want to try it out all the time. I really love this gun.
Conclusion:
I got my gun offline from a PbNation user recently for $650 with the Dye Ultralite- a steal if you ask me, and if you can find one for this price, grab it as quick as you can. You will not regret buying this marker.
- 1 for stock barrel and being just a tincey bit heavy.
I have used Shockers Nxts and Visions but I still like this gun over them because it has a LCD screen and is easy to customize and a lot more customizable.
Ions not as good.
Impulse not as good better than ion though.

This marker comes stacked stock with a 2 piece barrel new limited edition maniac board and a star reg. You can get a color CCU kit to add color and thats pretty much all you need.

This is a great gun its the best gun made for 06 in my opinion it may not be as light as the XSV ego but its fast because of the maniac board. This gun is great i would recomend a pulse loader because its the fastest on the market even faster than the Empire B2 and I know because I have tested is with my friends B2 and his is fast but mines faster and you can get the RF chip for it so it pulses every time the trigger is pulled. I have a CP 48 ci tank and i get a lot of shots from it considering its so small this gun is really air efficient. I got mine for $875 and thats a really good price. I got it from DGX PAINTBALL in Napa,CA. they rock they sell eveything and are great at fixing stuff, I recomend buying things from them. Their website name is www.dgxpaintball.com. This is a graet gun and usually it is under $1000. I recomend it to anyone EGOs rock.
Conclusion:
This is a great gun and is fast,light,air efficient. Like I said before I recommend it to anyone. BUY IT!!!!!
