Review: Well I have been looking into th eMarq series since they came out, and I finally got the balls to try one. I got rid of my tried and true DM6 and broke down and got a Closer. First thing I notice is that the box it got shipped to me in felt empty, honestly. I opened the box, and there it was. The anno was perfect. (I got the gloss red.) And then I picked it up and it feels as light as my 06 Ego, and that it saying alot since Egos have exposed bolts, and the Marq's is enclosed. Then I went and shot it w/ some left over from a tournament Draxxus Blaze. It has a bit of kick, but nothing you will notice in a game. And it is FAST! I was very surprised when I shot it how fast it was. I thought my 06 Ego was fat, but this BLEW it out of the water. The 4 eyes make a noticeable difference. Also, you may think the trigger looks weird, don't worry, so did I, but after walking it....It is set-up perfectly, doesn't bounce and is amazingly fast. There is nothing on this gun performance wise that let me down.

The only bad thing about this gun was the efficiency. I shot a full Vlocity on like 800 psi. After doing the math, that is like a hopper and 4 1/2 pods on my 70/45 Crossfire Stubby. Now it is horrible, but you'll probably have to fill after every game...But this gun shoots soooooo nice, that I hate to even mention that. Don't let the efficiency hold you back. And it had a little kick, but it hasn't been broken in or tuned yet, so that explains that.

BEST GUN I HAVE OWNED SO FAR!!! And oh yeah, it comes with every upgrade possible for a Marq stock from the factory!!! And the barrel kit that comes with it was very nice. Mine came with .688 and the .694 Backs and a 14" front. Couldn't get any sweeter!
Conclusion: This was my first Bob Long, and I have been missing out. I was a gun whore and have gone through about 15 markers in the last year, but this one is gonna make me stop whoring it shoots soooooo nice. And alot of you know how hard it is to stop being a gun whore. Will keep this one and stay in the Bob Long/Marq family for years to come. If you can afford it, get it! Spend the extra $200 over the Marq 7 to get the Closer, because all of the upgrades on it are worth WAY more then that $200!

This Gun Has it all (None)
Strengths: Fast, No Kick, Accurate, Quite, and Gas efficient
Weaknesses: None
Review: After owning My 05 Timmy I almost did not Buy another Bob Long product, But after going to the Mid Atlantic Open last year and taking the Bob Long Marq Series Tech Class and seeing how well these Guns are Built, I changed my Mind.
And I'm very Glad I did !
This Gun has worked Flawless and the only reason I upgraded the stock Tadao Board with the Tadao OLED Board is for the ease of use and Bling.
The gun Has No Kick and the stock Marq Series Barrel is Very Accurate Light and Quite,
the gun is light and milled to perfection, the stock trigger is perfect no play very fast and it is easy to adjust, the Bolt Design is so easy to maintain, along with its Locking Feed Neck Degassing on off this gun has it all.

Conclusion: My Final Conclusion on this gun is, This Gun is the best I have ever owned Bob Long and his Crew have Hit a Home Run with the Marq Series Guns, I recommend everybody thinking of Upgrading to a true Tournament Level Marker to Get one Now

Review: The marker is super quiet and I just seem to have better luck with it over most other guns.easy to maintain, light and very effective on the field . I'm never going to let this gun go.It's sleek and has nice lite milling. No frills all thrill in the same light weight package.
Conclusion: This is an amazing gun, bob long has done it yet again with a perfect marker 10 all day

Recommended
Upgrades:
Definitly the bolt for air efficency
mine came with the aftermarket barrel so i cant comment on that
Strengths: Extremly light, Accurate also has very streamlined profile
Weaknesses: Trigger sensitivity
led system to change setting (i prefer lcd)
Review: I got this second hand with all the upgrades aready in it
the original owner had the standard trigger in and i replaced it with the kodachi and went out and tested it and noticed that the force of the bolt coming back was enough to cause the marker to fire again so i had to change mbounce etc to stop this and this is when i got aggro with the led system on the board.
After all this was sorted i found it extremly easy to use. Its so light and compact its great for front players.
it fires like a dream with the kodachi trigger making it so easy to walk. Its accuracy is extremly good as well when using good grade paint i was able to put paint in to a very small radius at 25 meters .

Conclusion: An extremly good marker with just a few little niggles id recommend this to almost anyone

Review: Picked up this gun at world cup. Great gun right out of the box. It shoots ropes and comes with all the goodies. It's fast, light, has a great feel, low maintenance and overall one of the best if not the best gun I've ever shot. It shoots really smooth with little kick, especially once everything on the gun is broken in (after about ten or more cases). Bob Long has done it again with this one and I am proud to be shooting one of his markers.
Conclusion: A great competitor in the price range, especially now that prices on this gun have dropped and is now selling cheaper than the new Egos, Geos, and Matrixes. Best bang for the buck, a great buy, great factory backing and would highly recommend this gun to anyone.
