Dye C4's- very nice and comfortable. Rugged, but fell apart after 3 years of play
BDU pants-the basic, they get a little hot, have no padding, get torn up, not much of a comparison |

| Review: |
I order the pants probably a month ago, and promptly got an e-mail back from a lady saying they were out of stock of the color I had ordered (green). They gave me a choice of about 5 other patterns, 3 of which had not been offered on the website. I picked camo, and about a week later I got my pants in the mail.
I tried them out the first time and they were pretty sweet. They were light, well-ventilated, and baggy enough the I had a lot of bounces on my legs. There could be a little more padding in the crotch area, IMO. They are very easily adjustable though, I'm pretty thin but I was able to cinch my XL's down tight. They would fit just about anyone.
So today I had my first problem. I put on my pants, and tried to zip up the front. I had left the straps tight beause I had them the way I liked them, but as I pulled on the zipper, the metal zipper came off. I guess it was made of aluminum or something, because the metal just bent and slipped off the metal zlip-strip (whatever you call it).
UPDATE: Alright, So I called BL and they said that this had happened on another pair of pants as well. They offered that I ship my pants back to them to be exchanged, but they didn't know what colors they had in stock at that time. I opted not to send my pants back, they fit just fine because there is velcro on the front. LEsson learned- undo the straps on pants as you put them on, and don't yank on zippers too hard. |

| Conclusion: |
I liked these pants so far. I was able to use the velcro on the pants to hold them up without the zipper anyways, but still, the pants were brand new when it broke. they're really comfortable and durable besides the zipper. I have yet to call about it since it happened this morning, but I'll try to write about how (if) they fix it. I think i can just clamp the zipper on with some pliars. I'll give the pants an 8.5 out of 10, because even though the pants are awesome, they put a low-quality metal zipper on the pants. 10 to me would be phenomenal bounce-gurantee pants that repel mud, water, and paint, for clarification. |
