| Review: |
I got 500 of these pupies of ebay for $48.60 shipped, thats about 1/3 the price of reballs, can't argue with that. so i open them up and do a drop test in my halo, they jam about 1-2 times in a drop test per pod. so then i pull out my dads caliber and measure the bore size, its exactly .678 inches, just smaller than the smallest freak insert. I found out that thats a good thing though, since they are 2.34 grams draxxus rec sport is 4.05 grams on average, the velocity evens out pretty well. So my friend comes over the next day to test his new Cyborg with a freak kit and vlocity, we first do a drop test through the vlelocity and it jams like crazy! a little discouraged, we air up the 'borg, put the vlelocity and freak on, start shooting at a home made target and all i can say is wow. these things never jammed, were easy to pick up, shot well no matter how fast we were shooting (about 17 bps). he started the day with 1500 psi in his 45 ci tank and we burned through 2 hoppers in about 5 or 6 minutes. so after all the air is gone, we have about 350 zballz in my catcher, dirty as heck. we load 'em into the pods, fill up the sink, drop them in and the dirt and grime comes right off. they float, so it was easy to collect them and drop them into a towel which we rolled them around in for about 30 seconds and they came out drier than our hands.
Since these are lighter and smaller than paintballs, i wouldn't recommend using them for tuning you marker as when you put in real paint it'll all be messed up. but they are great for testing a new marker, snap shooting, and just messing around.
EDIT:
I've been using these things for a while now, they are still just as awesome. My friend buys, sells, trades markers like crazy and its fun to have him come over and put a few ballz through each new marker. We've tested them with egos (05-08 including sl-68 and 74) dm7 and 8 and other miscellaneous markers. We've found halos work best (with trigger bounce we got an sl66 ego to hit 24 bps according to the LCD screen, plus it doesn't jam as much as a vlocity). |

| Conclusion: |
These things are great, they never jam, easy to clean, and durable. If you want a cheaper alternative to reballs for testing new markers, snap shooting, or just messing around these are for you. |

REUSEABLE, $60.00 for 500rds Cheeper than Reball, Variety of Colors |

Small Bore, Small dimple on the ball cause the ball to curve |

| Review: |
Upon getting 500 of these for $100 less than its big brother reball. It came in a small box with 500 yellow zballz in a cheep zip baggy. I'm all about the underdog companys, knowing that Gen X makes low end entry level equipment I snatched up a box of these just because I did not feel like paying the Reball $150 for 500 rounds. These were only $60.00 woohoo.
I noticed that when I opened the bag they have a strong odor. Kinda reminds me of raid bug spray. There is no seam in the ball, but there is a small dimple on most of the balls. And thought well they will curve a little durring testing. Which I was right they some of the zballz have a slight curve but who cares if your testing a makrer around the house. The zballs have a slight give to them when you sqeeze them but they do get harder as you sqeeze them. I have already walked on them and just like reball if you step on them they tend to pick up just a little dirt. But come clean with a little wash.
I did notice that the texture of the Zballz is different than reball. Reball kinda has a smoother finish w/o the dimple. Zballz have a dimple with powder finish. When shooting these reballz look out because they bounce like crazy. and they generaly stay within the 12-15 inch target every once in a while you will have one wonder off target because of the dimple on the ball. They fit in the hopper well, both Halo and VLocity. I was able to sqeeze all 500 rounds into 3 pods.
One thing I did notice that the bore size if the zballz. Its even smaller than my smallest bore in my freak kit. All the more reason for me to buy the .679 insert. I tested the zballz though my Alias and on every mode and they performed time and time again with no jams.
You my dear sir and mamm may have to get you some!!!

| Conclusion: |
If your considering getting some reballs think about the cheeper alternitive. Since most of us are going to only be shooting around the house. I honestly couldent bring myself to spend $150 on 500 rounds of reuseable balls. I found these, if you can look past the minor flaw "dimple" then they are worth it. Now I dont have to spend $15 a pop every time I need to test fire or Chrono my markers. I will give this product a 9 for the dimple. DIMPLES!!!!!!!! |
