This regulator is great for the price. At $40 you get what you pay for. If you need something to shoot a newer gun at speeds faster than 14 or 15, or you are a serious tournament player, you might want to consider something with a better recharge time.
This regulator is great for my style of play. I mostly play woodsball and the occasional casual speedball. Nothing super serious. The only problem I had other than the recharge was the thread cap. It is painted red and after screwing it into my asa a couple times, the paint on the threads began to flake off. Not really a big weakness, but I would rather the threads not be painted at all.
Conclusion:
This a a really good regulator. In my opinion you shouldn't have to shoot much faster than 14-15 bps in a game anyway, but if you need to shoot past that then I recommend a reg with a better recharge. But for me this is great. Affordable and it does what I expected it do to. The only reason I give the 9 is because of the thread cap paint issue.
