| The jerseys are dye sublimated so they will not fade. The material used is the highest quality in extremely light, breathable micro-fiber polyester. It has an extra open weave in the arm pit area to keep cool during those dog days of summer. The jerseys also come with elbow / forearm pads for extra added comfort. As well as raglan sleeves, and stretch cuffs. |

The Tippinators decided that it was time we had our own custom jerseys made. Jerseys that were unique and would express not only who we are as a team but also display our sponsor’s logos. We scoured the web and spoke to other players who wore custom jerseys and narrowed the list down to three or four possible suppliers. One name, Animal Paintball of Laredo Texas, kept coming up over and over again. Not from other players recommendations but from my web research. I decided to investigate Animal further and the first stop was PBReview.com to see what, if anything, others had to say.
The comments left on PBReview were favorable so I decided to investigate further. I sent a few, noob-like, questions to Animal just to see what kind of response I would receive. The owner of Animal Paintball, Mondo, quickly and courteously replied to every question, no matter how silly they may have been. This level of professionalism is more than can be said for a few other online jersey makers I contacted.
Stage one complete, great customer service. Being able to write a polite email doesn’t mean the finished product will be any good, but Mondo assured me he would do everything in his power to make me happy. After two months of constant email communication with Mondo I was 95% sold. I decided to call their toll free number, 866-729-0364, and have a chat in order to see if Mondo was as nice in person as he was in his emails. I wasn’t disappointed; he was even nicer in person. After 15 minutes on the phone the deal was done. I decided that Mondo would make the Tippinators jerseys.
I think Mondo was under the impression that the Tippinators are a three man team of kids judging by the tone of his voice when I told him we wanted 17 jerseys. He explained that all ordered must be paid in full before processing starts simply due to the huge number of requests he receives daily. No problem, I immediately rattled off my credit card number and the ball was rolling.
I explained exactly what we wanted and emailed a rough outline of the concept. I expected to wait a few weeks for someone to get back to me, which is typical with other jersey makers. I was shocked when four days from the order date I received a proof for approval. I made 10 or so small changes and sent a list of players. I received a final proof back the next day. The go ahead was given and the jerseys were underway.
A week later the team was lucky enough to secure another sponsor. I hoped that there was time to add this sponsor’s logo to the jersey. I called Mondo immediately and was told that the jerseys were finished and already shipped. Already shipped?!?! 10 business days from the payment being made to the jerseys being shipped is very impressive to say the least.

A few days later the box arrived from Texas. I eagerly tore into the package it like a kid under the tree Christmas morning. My eyes grew wide when I saw the pile of neatly folded, plastic coated black and digital camouflage material. The first jersey I pulled out was my own. I was shocked. Everything was exactly how I envisioned it in my head before I ordered. Sharp clear colors, crisp clean lines on the art work, no stretch collar and perforated stretchable cooling panels under the arms. Of course I had to try it on right away, the fit was perfect and the jersey is so light it’s like you aren’t even wearing it.
The jerseys look so good that the first day at the field no less then 10 people said how much they liked the jerseys and asked from where they were ordered. Every time I said, “Call Mondo at AnimalPaintball.com, he’ll look after you.” As I write this I have worn the jersey eight or nine times, washing it after every use. The colors are just as bright as the afternoon I opened the box and there is no sign of wear.

The seam at the bottom of the V-neck may start to rip if you wear the jersey a lot. I wear the jersey everytime i play, and sometimes even just as a shirt to school and stuff, and since i have, a seam has started to unravel, kind of like tighty-whitey(briefs) underwear, when you rip them(get some old ones and rip them, they suck anyway). but I have had the jersey for a lil over a year, and I play about 3-4 times a month, and the tear is only about half an inch....so i have no problem with it, and i bet they dont all do that. |

| Strengths: |
very comfortable. Padded elbows come in handy when diving for a bunker. Color hasn't faded after multiple washings. Mesh sides help keep things cool. Graphics look awesome - grabs other players' attention in the staging area. Paint doesn't leave a stain if washed within several hours after play. Cuffs don't stretch out after months of pushing the sleeves up and down along the arm. |

I had my name and team logos put on mine, and their customer service dept. was fantastic to deal with. It's so comfortable, I even like to wear it off the field at times. It hasn't threaded or faded after quite a few games and washings. Drop a few dimes, and get one for your wardrobe. |
