This barrel is the same barrel that comes stock on every Mamba iR3, Custom iR3, and Cobra LCD. Two different styles available. The Straight Bore or the Step Bore. The Straight Bore is just a continuous bore size for the entire length of the barrel. Similar to how most 1 piece barrels are made. The Step Bore is a single piece barrel, but performs like all the 2 piece barrels on the market. The first half of the barrel is you control bore (the part that gives the ball its velocity), and the last half is enlarged to a larger bore size (similar to a 2 piece barrel design).
Product Availability
The Cobra Barrels are older, so while they may be available used and in a few cases new, they are not commonly available anymore.

Products Used:
Boomie (alum & Stick)
OTP G-3 (NEVER again, breaks paint like a power painter. Like many multi-piece barrels, if there is the slightest imperfection- Bust)
Infinity (contrary to the Stockaphobia mindset, a good barrel)
Marker Setup: IR3 CnC (Champagne Dust - sweet), Intellifeed equipped, Cobra bolt, Cobra SS hammer, Nickel buttons
Angel AIR
Infinity barrel (also have Boomie, Cobra 2-step & OTP-G)

Paintballs:
Any (b/c of the size). But I only use quality paint
Strengths: You can shoot any size paint b/c of the size (.693 stepped to .700).
B/c an Angel is not as picky as a cocker when dealing with paint-to-bore match (as a result of the open-bolt design and ball detent), larger bore barrels work well w/ Angels. I have found it to be very accurate and easy to clean (not as many ports). The reduced amount of porting also saves air efficiency. Also the porting is farther down the barrel allowing the ball to achieve optimum velocity before decreasing when it hits the ports (the more holes you have, the higher you have to set your reg to achieve your desired fps out of the barrel)
Weaknesses: I have no bad comments. I started buying into the hoopla of inserts, etc. When I started breaking balls, I switched back to the Cobra. Don't think I'll make that mistake again.
Cobra sent out my barrel (along with my Boommie) to anodize it to match my IR3. Thanks guys.
Light.
Conclusion: There is a reason Cobra puts their barrel on their Cobra & Momba Angels- It works and is a proven product. If you know these guys & their company, they only put the best on their products.

Marker Setup: Dark Angel. angel a.i.r. warp intellifeed. freak barrel system.Countless other upgrade. I am sponsored so i am probobly the best paintballer out there. So eat it newbs.

Paintballs:
slam balls
Strengths: Well is shoots great and its very quiet. The port venting is top of the line. i prefer this barrel over my boomstick. It collects dust though ever since I got a freak barrel.
Weaknesses: The only problem is that when you shoot at hight rates of fire is starts busting balls. I only use this with my sniper II during pump tournaments. Also this barrel is the ugliest barrel I have ever seen.
Conclusion: An overall good barrel. If you dont mind ugliness and if you play pump this barrel is for you. I would recomend saving allitle bit more and getting a 2002 all american barrel. They are amazing in every aspect.

All types of barrels including crownpoints, dye boom sticks, ceramics, carbon fibers, smart parts freak system, infinity, and cobra.
Marker Setup: 2001 cut and carved angel lcd, cobra bolt, cobra hammer, cobra barrel, cobra third trigger adjustment screw, kapp lpr chamber, kapp low rise, kapp breach pull pin, kapp angel air drop forward., angel air 68 cu. Halo hopper, and VL with intellifeed.
Recommended
Paintballs:
jt maxim, rps slam, diablo inferno covers the board.
Strengths: I am shooting the two stage .690 step bore barrel in chrome. The barrel is far more consistant than my smart parts freak kit (which I sold on e-bay). I have noticed that the range or ball drop is a little better with the single stage cobra barrels but with single stage comes occasional ball breakage. With the large bore two stage I have shot 3 cases of jt elite (a practice ball which is barely better than brass eagle) in one day with 0 thats NO ball breaks. What is even better than the barrel is the customer service at cobra. When I had my gun upgraded all the components (barrel, bolt, hammer) got destroyed on there first use because of wdps lousy building of the gun. The breech had a large gap in it. Chris at cobra (even though it wasnt there fault) replaced everything for free and fixed the breech on the house too. The gun has never even shot nearly as well as it does today and I owe it all to them. Best company around period.
Weaknesses: Shipping blows, and insurance is outrageous. USPS and UPS are a bad idea, go Fed-Ex.
The only thing that is bad can not be helped, If you have a barrel that never breaks paint but the someone gets a shot on your barrel porting then you will have to return to the dreaded days of cleaning out the barrel.
Conclusion: Plain out, best company, best service, best products. Awsome barrel and the cost is unbeatable.

none. i compared a boomstick, and this with marb paint, this thing beat it.
Marker Setup: angel lcd 2000 edition, cobra low-rise, cobra bolt, cobra 14 in. black, .693 bore size, cp drop, evolution 2 hopper, fang grip, KAPP volumizer, pmi pure energy 4500 psi, 68 cu. inch tank. whew. that was alot.

Paintballs:
any. get he .693, so that it will work with any paint.
Strengths: accurate, quiet, looks great.
Weaknesses: none. none. none. the best a berrel can get.
Review: cobra is by far THE best provider for aftermarket products for the angel. no questions. these people know what there doing. the guy who works there knows EVERYTHING about what to get, and all that. i dont believe in control-bore barrels with all those inserts. this barrel leads the balll straight, looks cool, and costs 60 bucks, because it is on sale. its a great barrel at .693 bore. .689 will chop more paint.
Conclusion: buy it. now. i demand you to. i am the master.

Strengths: Extremely accurate, extremely quiet, perfect match of barrel to pump. Very nice smooth finish.
Weaknesses: Nothing, for a single size barrel.
Review: The Cobra barrel on a Sniper 2, makes it an even more of an excellent marker.
This would also apply to Autocockers.
Plus an exclusivity of the Cobra name which usually only applys to Angels. Extremely quiet and accurate. With your velocity dialed in at the typical field limit of 285 fps, 30 yards is not out of the questions, I was hitting and eliminating out at over 100 feet.
I went with the .689 and nickel finish which shows up fingerprints but who cares.
It matches with the pump handle perfectly, so there's no pump wobble.
Interesting event happened the last time I was at the field, three refs were checking my sniper while a guy with a $1200 e-blade, standing next to me was completely ignored.
Conclusion: Excellent choice of barrels if you don't want to mess with inserts or two peices.
