Works incredibly well with the custom Flatline Barrel, very tight seal
Weaknesses:
None
Review:
Prior to this bolt I would break the occasional paintball before it exits the barrel, but with this bolt, the ball is chipped up into the barrel allowing for the best possible scenario for back spin. This in turn increased accuracy and distance. I was hitting target at well beyond the range of the opposing guns and all with 20+ BPS at between 260 and 270 FPS as noted by the two refs that pulled me aside for field chrono. They both couldn't believe I was shooting that fast and that far. I owe it to the Bolt and and the Barrel combo.
Conclusion:
If you're going to run a Flatline Barrel you need this bolt!!!!
A5 with RT, 14J&J ceramic barrel, polished internals, HPA, double trigger. Vortex, and QEPH mods. ACP LowBlow bolt, and ACP VelocityBoostKit.
Strengths:
Fast. Light. Zero maintenance. Produces effects as advertised. Customer Service 5stars!!!
Weaknesses:
Get a good paint/barrel match. At long distance the balls curve off.
Review:
I just recently purchased the Low Blow bolt from Alamo City Paintball and from the reviews I read I was very excited about purchasing this bolt. Upon purchase I noticed that the ACP bolt is very well machined and the front half of the bolt has been machined down slightly to allow it to seal with the barrel. I noticed no defects in the workmanship or finish. I slapped that puppy in my A5 and proceeded to team practice. At practice I did notice that my marker did have a little less kick, and my R/T did seem a little more responsive.(Dont know why it just did.) The one thing I noticed when I fired, the balls did seem to fly straight and flat until 100ft or so, then they would curve up and to the left, or right.(probably from backspin.) I did notice a little better efficiency with the ACP bolt.(Dont know why).
Conclusion:
I definitely recommend buying this from ACP. It does as advertised. Just make sure you get a good paint to barrel match, and the results are overwhelming.
