Not ones to rest on our laurels we’ve enhanced the original Cure
bolt design to encompass elongated detent slots to reduce the
wear and tear on your Ego or Etek markers detents, a longer
ramped top surface to further eliminate cutting balls in the feed
stack and completely redesigned the bolt face to incorporate a
cupped bowl increasing the surface contact area at the bolt to ball
interface. This is our most advanced bolt to date, can you afford to
be without one?
Product Availability
The Planet Eclipse Cure Bolt 2 is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

Review: Got the bolt in the mail. Looks awesome. Planet Eclipse's quality is amazing. Went to slap it into my 06 and noticed the bolt pin touched. No problem. I looked on eclipse site and they had the solution. So I switched out the bolt pins and it works no problem! I played all weekend with it and shot premium paint. Not a single chop. Gun shot ropes all weekend. My egos sound signature has quietened just a tad and it seems to be a bit more accurate.

Conclusion: All I have to say is it works wonders! If you have the money or the original cure, get this bolt!

Review: okay lets get this out of the way, i am a new ego owner and havent really owned any others.

When unpackaging this bolt, i was astonished by how clean it looked and the size. I immediately took off my old bolt and put own the cure2. It fit perfectly and all i had to do was put a drop of oil on the o-rings and test it out. It was really short so its lighter which means it can cycle faster and more eficiently. The face of the bolt is more cupped so the ball fits perfectly in it to be softer on paint. The top is more ramped or how you say it so the doesnt clip the second ball if a ball is pushed pass the detents. Oh yeah the side of the bolt is cut deeper and longer into it to be easier on detents and cause less wear and tear. The bolt is perfectly aligned with the breech so it fits great. the bolt pin is easier to pull out but wont pop out even at 90 cps on training mode. I put this bolt through some vigorous tests to see the effectiveness of it. I froze some evil paint to where it would break from 3 feet off the ground. I put a pod of it in a halo and im sure i broke a ball when dropping it to fast in. This didnt effect it at all. I took shot test shots for fun. The balls were flying straight and i noticed i could drop my dwell from 10 to 9.5 to save air. The air is surrounding the ball on all sides touching the bolt rather than one pressure point. This allows you to shoot the most brittle paint. this bolt was so good i didnt chop a sngle ball. I even upped my dwell and reg to up the pressure and didnt chop. This bolt is so cool. It even changes the sound signature. My ego became quieter afterwards. It still has the classic 2 orings on the bolt to absorb shock and have less kick. I was using this with a zick kit with already no kick except with high rof strings. This had no kick whatsoever even when i shot ropes of 25-30.
Conclusion: Yet another great product from Planet Eclipse. It is a little expensive but its worth it.
