| Review: |
My last pair of knee pads used to annoy the hell out of me, mainly because i play front and slide prodominantly right on my knees and every time i did so my knee pads would slip to my ankles. So i though i would invest in some new knee pads seeing as how its been a few years. long story short eclipse was the least expensive option that had velcro closeur on both sides of my knee.
First Impressions: Very nice look to them. The graphics where nice nothing too outlandish. the pads seemed adiquit while i was nealing in them.the only thing left to do was buy them and test them out.
Performance: The Padding itself is really thin kind of like the cheapy volleyball kneepads you can get at like big 5 for 10 bucks. I came to find out, however, that the padding wasn't all that bad. I have a little light brusing from a previously bruised knee mainly because i lost one of my older knee pads and bruised the crap out of the knee i didn't put it on, but other than that it wasn't uncomfortable to slide in at all. I een got shot point blank in the knee a couple of games and had the ref actually pull me out because I didn't even realize i was hit. The venting is a god sent none of my previous pads breath like these knee pads do. i can actually say that my knees where not a sloppy mess by the end of the day in the hot california sun.
They stay on very well too. The velcro really does its job i got a large and i barely need to tighten them at all.
Negatives: Their strength is also their curse. The velcro has cut my circulation of a little during the day. and if you open them up all the way on the top there is no material to protect your leg from the velcro so it rubs on your thighfor the entire day. Its more of an annoyance than anything but its a negative none the less. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Overall: Thats it velcroe kind of scratches you but other than that, that was about it. If your annoyed with knee pads that constantly slip off your knee you can't go wrong with these guys. I give them a 10/10 mainly because there really isn't anything wrong with them persay. just minor annoyances. |

| Review: |
Bought these after being extremely frustrated with my new dye c8 knee pads which constantly were slipping and ending up on my ankles lol. Used them at my last practice and loved them they stayed in place all day no adjusting needed and other than scraping my shin my knees were fine. A+ |
 |
| Conclusion: |
If you like planet and need a set of good not to expensive knee pads get these |
