Tippmann 98 custom
20 oz Stryker C02 tank
200 round hopper
Strengths:
1100 shots per fill
Very light
Weaknesses:
Valve sometimes stays open causing leaks
Review:
My tank is a large 20oz tank But I think they come in other sizes. At my field it is $5 per fill for any size so this saves me about $3 for a fill. It can shoot about a 1100 paintball per fill and is very light. but I had just finished a round of speedball and I could here my tank leaking but a man in the proshop used a pen to close the valve. overall a very good investment
Worr Game Products Trilogy Pro SF Autococker
VL Quantum Agitating Hopper
24oz Stryker Co2
Strengths:
1600 shots!
Pretty light
Weaknesses:
Long
Review:
I bought this tank because of the size, 1600 shots. I was running out of co2 right at the end of the day with a 20oz, so this gives 20's an extra boost. The only thing I would reccomend getting is a drop foward. The tank sticks out a ton and gets in the way. It seems to be light for a big tank.
Conclusion:
Co2 is co2, I got it for the size and would reccomend it.
I like it. Nice and big and it holds enough shots for plenty of games. Personally I wouldn't buy it again. Just go for the 20 oz. It's only 2 dollars less but it is more comfortable to play with. The size was my only problem with it. If you have a drop forward on your gun then it should work fine. If not go with the 20 oz. Don't use it for any types of speedball. Way to big for snapshooting or stuff like that. I am asking that people stop trying to compare this to HPA tanks. I know it's not as good but it does what it's supposed to very well. Hope this helps.
Conclusion:
Yea it's a great tank. If your doing a big woodsball game then get it but it's definitely not compact. Holds a lot of shots. I've never done this but it would probably work best with a remote line and/or a drop forward. I am giving it an 8 because it does what it supposed to very well. I'm taking off two points for the size but that's just preference. If you don't mind the size, get this tank.
Just the 9oz tank that came with my marker, nothing special
Marker Setup:
Tippman 98 Custom
Strengths:
C02 is cheaper per oz the bigger the tank
Weaknesses:
The valve stuck open.
Review:
The 24 oz tank wasn't nearly as big as I had expected and was very manageable. Balanced well with the C98.
However, the second time I took it off the valve stuck open and purged C02, had to put it back on the marker quick. Once it's empty I'm exchanging it. Go Walmart and 90 day return policy!
Conclusion:
Have to wait and see if the replacement is defective too. No frills... so it should be good if it works!
