Review:
This body armor jacket does a great job of protecting you from paintballs that can hit your chest and back. I play with it under a long sleeve shirt as it is really designed to be worn underneath a jersey. I played an entire day and found out later on that I had gotten hit straight in the back, but I didn't even notice it. The protector also isn't overly thick which would prevent fast movement but has enough padding to shield you from balls. Another great thing is that the protector also has padded shoulders and right down the arm to where a t-shirt sleeve would end.
The only weaknesses that I can point out are the lack of padding on the sides of the body (where your arm hangs at its side) and the torso/stomach area (check out the picture of it). I should point out though if you're wearing a thick pod harness then that will not interfere too much with the protector as there isn't any padding down that far on the back or the front (it seems that BT designed it with pod harnesses in mind).
Conclusion:
I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for some protection beyond a simple vest or jacket because it provides some great protection for those well aimed balls out there on the field.
