Marker Setup: Spyder 2000 200 rd. hopper 2 12 oz Co2 tanks AN ELBOW WOO HOO (lol) bottom line. CP barrel
Recommended
Upgrades:
I got a new barrel (I suggest a nyte stikk or Custom Parts barrel, cheap and incredably good) If you like an expansion chamber or handle get one.
Strengths: Most reliable gun i have shot. Doesnt break paint, period. Accurate, inexpensive, effective, fun.
Weaknesses: Really you only need a better barrel. very solid product.
Review: I am very very happy with this gun. It shoots basically all paint great, doesnt chop balls, fairly accurate even with stock barrel. I feel like it is by far the most reliable gun you can get that doesnt cost 800+ dollars. It can easily contend with the bigger, more expensive guns. I very much reccomend this excelent product. I have never had a single breakage except a tank o-ring, and that isnt the guns fault at all. Incredible gun, incredible price.
Conclusion: I would highly reccomend this gun to anyone that is sure they want to play the game. If you are testing to see if you like paintball, a Spyder Compact is a little cheaper than this, but if you are gonna play, by all means get this. Better than piranahs, rebels, tippmans (in my oppinion, but tippman is very good). buy buy buy!!

Upgrades:
Deffinetly a new barrel
Strengths: Great starter gun, not to heavy, my Nyte Stikk Barrel works awsome with it.
Weaknesses: Havnt found much wrong with it
Review: I just bought this marker a couple weeks ago, i paid $200 CND, for the gun, Nyte Stikk Barrel, Hopper, 12oz Tank and a JT Spectra nForcer mask. Used, but everything was in great condition. it shoots great, Pretty accurate, doesnt really chop balls, only broke 4 balls out of 1000 and they were for reasons not to be blamed on the gun
Conclusion: Great gun, if anyone has a chance to get one, GET IT!

Review: This is a solid Spyder. All you need really is a new barrel and this gun would be good, but I like to have a gun that is concise and reliable. This gun is great for new players and even more experienced players that dont want to use an expensive gun. With a few modifications you can have this gun is pristine working condition.
Conclusion: This gun is worth its cost and is great to use anytime. For these factors I will give it a 9 out of 10, just because there could have been a bit more done to the marker before it was released by Kingman.

Well nothing is really required... I guess if you wanted you could get a new barrel.
Strengths: THIS GUN IS FREAKIN TOUGH!! Also the regulator on it is really good.
Weaknesses: Well, It doesn't have a forward grip, or an expansion chamber.
Review: This gun is a pretty good gun for its price. But as with most intermediate markers it isnt very good against a person who plays decent and has a Angel. The gun can feel a little off balance at first. but you get used to it. The regulator on the gun is an added plus
Conclusion: This is a pretty good gun for the price. I think anyone getting into the sport will love it. Also for the price ( I got mine for $91) it cant be beat. Any player should pick this gun up due to it would make a great backup gun or regular gun.

Strengths:
Good accuracy, cheap, easy to field strip
Weaknesses: Bad range, heavy, and breaks a lot of balls.

I must stress the ball breakage. I do not use bad balls (usually marballizer or Premium Gold) and I had a good barrel and used Nitro. But this gun has a real bad problem with ball breakage. Whats worse is that ball chopping is also common (this is where it lubes the internals) which is very bad for the field
Conclusion: The gun is a good starting gun (much better than the Stingray or bruizer or other Spyder knock offs), but I belive the Tippmann is more rugged and breaks less balls. Also, I must stress, if you plan on staying in this sport, buy a Autococker. It is a little more complicated, but you get used to it. Cockers are only $315 now.

Please dont get this gun. When you have averages like 1 break out of every 500 balls, which is normal, you have a real problem. My cocker breaks 1 in every couple cases.

Review: I got this gun around 1999 after screwing around with a Brass Eagle Talon (we've all been there) and I finally decided to sit down a write a review about how good this gun has been to me. I've shot well over 100,000 rounds through it and it still performs amazingly. I couldn't ask any more of this gun. You can see the upgrades I've performed but none of them were even necessary just things i felt like doing. The stock regulator is still working and I haven't touched the adjustment since the day I bought it. I have never had to replace any internal parts or even O-rings (I'm very careful about keeping them lubed after everytime i even take 10 shots)

I can pretty much drive nails using good paint too. At 50 feet all shots are in about a 10" circular area (remember the upgrades)
Conclusion: Bascially if they still made this gun I would probably have three of them by now!!

Upgrades:
A new barrel. My Lapco Bigshot works well.
My power feed was shot at a close range, and it cracked in half. So I recommend having a few extra powerfeeds
Strengths: Lightweight, tough as nails, never chopped a ball, the hammer (cocky thingy) doesn't move.
Weaknesses: The power feed breaks
Review: Tthis is an all around good gun, the only time it's broken balls was when I was using Zap and they had been in my room all summer long. The only time it broke was when the powerfeed got shot. I like that Kingman doesn't make it anymore, that way your unique. So over all, if you can get your hands on it, BUY IT.
Conclusion: Buy it, there's nothing really wronng with it so why not?

Upgrades:
better barrel
Strengths: Bolt blowback inside
Light
Weaknesses: Different from other spyders, not as upgradable
Louder w/o x chamber
Review: I bought this gun for 49 bucks on ebay. it came well with all parts. the accuracy of this marker is decent with the stock barrell, a new barrell would be nicer. the concealed blowback is nice, unlike the other guns where the cocking handle would hit u in the face. i found that once there is an x chamber, the gun becomes much more quiet.
Conclusion: I recommend this to more experienced players who like to upgrade, it is nice for beginners, ull need to invest more money to make it nice to really compete.

Weaknesses: grip if your hand doesnt go that way
Review: Great gun. get a new barrel and you have a sweet gun. Its very upgradeable as all spyders are. Its a sweet buy if your looking for a good gun for the good money. Its also kind of a collectors item since they only made it for a few years. Get it.
Conclusion: Great gun. Ive used shutters, and xtras and it performs the same as them without a expansion chamber.
