The “BASE” harness is the starting point for all great Extraktion load-outs. Evolving from the ever-popular NXe Elevation harness, the Extraktion BASE harness brings a level of comfort and function never-before-seen in the scenario market. The, always necessary, comfort and support are provided by the Elevation body wrap belt system and backpanel; while the lower back and hip M.O.L.L.E. attachment areas allow you to tactically place what you require, where you want it.
After being loaded up with RELOADS (pod attach), FRAGS (grenade pouch), a HAUL (drop pouch), and everything else your mission requires, BASE is ready to go into battle as an unmatched super-light load-out. If your mission requires more, attachments are provided for attaching a FLANK (light vest rig) or a SHELL (heavy vest rig).
An identification pocket, placed in the front closure, adds to the incredible feature list of the BASE.

Invert mini with a Stiffi barrel and a Halo B hopper with rip drive
Strengths:
It's absurdly expandable, large, well-built, and has tons of Velcro that ensure stability.
Weaknesses:
Almost too complicated for a belt.
Review:
Ordered the harness, pocket, and three pods. Let me tell you, this thing is kick ass--or at least, appears like it will kick ass. First off, I still haven't figured out how to use the belt. I know--it's a belt, how is this possible right? But there is more Velcro on this thing that those walls at carnivals you jump onto wearing a Velcro suit. What is most awesome is that everything is customizable. I wanted a belt where I could have my pods horizontal on either side of me for easy access. This seems eminently doable on this belt. You just stick the pod holders to the Velcro. They fit very firmly, the only problem being that they have loops along the back as well which only actually loop if you stick them on vertically, thus, they are sort of in the way. It doesn't look like it will be a problem though. What's especially cool is that the pod holders have Velcro on the outside and are therefore stackable.
I also bought a strap on (don't say it!) pocket which I can attach almost anywhere and in which I can keep by hex-key set, squeegee, etc in. Loving it. It attaches without the use of Velcro, but rather with a loop and button, but it still can go various places on the belt and has Velcro on the outside so other things can be placed on top of it.
And everything feels tight, well made, and looks great. So far, this appears to be a totally customizable great buy. Will update once I get to actually use it on the field. Mine's camo colored, but this seem perfect for both woods and speed ball
Conclusion:
The add-ons are going to rack up your credit card bill ($10 each for the pod holders!). But man on man, how cool is a belt where you add onto it and customize it as if it were a marker.
