Virtually indestructable Kevlar verson of our popular Viper coihose. This is the coil hose everone has been waiting for! Three years in development. only 3/4" in diameter, this is the smallest, lightest coilhose ever. This hose is a little bigger than a telephone cord! Say goodby to flimsy coil hoses forever!

Strengths:
Very tight coil, as advertised. ACI quick disconnect/slide check combo works well.
Coil is VERY short - a bit too short for a tall guy.
Weaknesses:
Leaks. There is a rubber coating over the coil that reaches up over the connection bolts. It's not unusual for the connectors to leak very slightly, but on this remote, the leak fills the rubber sleeve and eventually it blows out. My first millenium "blew up" the first time I used it. I had it promptly replaced. The replacement did the same thing, but I held on to it and used it for some time. A year later the thing had too many leaks to use. Changing the o-rings on the slide check are a major pain since it's integrated with the QD.
Conclusion:
You could buy 2-3 inexpensive remotes with slide checks for what you pay for this one. I picked up a new PMI on Ebay for $25 - has no leaks - and a year later the coil still is fine and it still doesn't leak. The millenium seems to have very poor quality control.
Given that I've owned 2 that leaked from the start, there's no good reason to buy one of these over-priced remotes. They don't work any better than a cheap remote - perhaps worse.
MSRP is NOT and has never been $50 - it's $69.95, and the cheapest I've seen it anywhere is $59.95.
