The entry level chest protector is value based to keep welts off of your body without breaking the bank. Great for rental fleets and new players.
Product Availability
The JT Folding Chest Protector is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

Review: I purchased this after I decided I was going to paintball with a chest protector. I found this at canadian tire for $40 which wasn't too bad at all. Now it sais that one size fits most but I'm a bit skeptical on that. I'm 6'2 and the chest protector still stands about an inch above my belly button. I'm not sure if they're made like this in paintball due to the pod hardness' but it can feel a bit uncomfortable. I haven't had a chance to get hit with it on yet but from reviews all around the web, it helps reduce the sting and definitely feels a lot better then getting struck bare skin or with just a thin layer of clothing.
Conclusion: A great buy for a first time paintballer like me. There are some problems with it but you won't be thinking about it too much when you're on the field.
