The AK-47 Barrel Kit for Tippmann Guns with wooden handguards features a new removable barrel. Simply grab the sight and turn and the barrel unscrews from the marker while the handguards and sight stay in place.
Product Availability
The Real Action Paintball Tacamo A5 AK47 Wooden Barrel Kit is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

Paintballs:
Never use brass eagle. You basically get a useless paintball flamethrower with a 5-foot range.

The cheap RECON brand from Fleet Farm worked fine. I usually use pro ones from my local field, though, no sense in risking a break!
Strengths: -Looks awesome
-Real wood & metal
-Very accurate even at long range
Weaknesses: -Heavy & bulky
-Laser engraved RAP4 logo
-Not super tight-fitting
Review: This thing looks and feels amazing, just like a real AK-47. The wood grain is beautiful, and the metal is nice... except it will rust if you don't keep it oiled, just like a real gun! So it's kind of high-maintenance.

I had the magazine kit and the wooden stock in addition to this barrel kit, and I would get compliments and turn heads all the time.

The barrel, even though it's only 13", is super accurate too! I have been able to get so many long-range kills it's ridiculous. Sure, you have to arc the shots mortar-style, but any quarter-size splat counts!

Tactically, it is fine, not too much longer than any plain nice barrel. However, when paired with the wooden stock like I had mine, it gets too long and is hard to use in close/medium quarters.

This thing also never really fit 100% super-tight. The wooden foregrips ended up sliding back and forth in their metal holders which wasn't cool. The magazine kit and wooden buttstock were even worse in this category, but that's another story.

The main bad thing about this kit is that RAP4 has laser engraved their logo into both sides, so it shines chrome and sticks out like a sore thumb. I'm one of those who hates being identified by brands, so I hated this and sold my kit because of the RAP4 branding.

I plan on buying the plain non-RAP4 Tacamo kit in the future, with a folding metal AK stock instead of wood.
Conclusion: I would recommend against this product because of the need of high-maintenance, un-removable RAP4 logos, and how cumbersome it is in close-quarters.

But, if you don't mind a heavy gun and are going for a cool mil-sim look, and tend to play more in the woods, get the regular non-RAP4 Tacamo AK kit instead. You'll look way cooler and stand out over those with the synthetic AK kits!
