This is a upgrade for the standard heavy hammer for the Tippmann M98, they already released this hammer for the standard Tippmann M98, but this one is made for the 98's with ACT (Anti Chop Technology). It's being advertised as 'zero kick', thats a bit too much seeing you can't take out the entire kick of the hammer. But this upgrade surely weighs allot less than the standard hammer. The normal hammer weighs in 136 grams, where the Techt ACT Zero Kick Hammer weighs in 78 grams!
Installing it was simple, remove the old bolt, remove the plastic black slider that is inserted in the old bolt, place it in the new bolt, put in the Techt hammer with the new stiffer string (Or you will lose velocity) and close your marker and done! When shooting the marker you will surely feel allot of difference, you can group your shots allot better now seeing your gun does not kicks back so much anymore! |
