Marker Setup: Spyder Pilot
2nd Gen ACS bolt/ bought seperatly
16" freak barrel
Evlution ll w/y-board
20oz co2
Strengths: I got mine in cammo so it helps with hiding
Helps if you get hit
Weaknesses: Restricting
Feels like a brace
Review: I don't even use it. I ordered it online to spend a couple xtra bux and thought this might be somthing that would come in handy. Wellll, I've never been shot in the neck and I like to get a little air when I'm playing so it stays in my footlocker.
Conclusion: It's a good buy for $4 or so. It'll do It's job if you take a hit in the neck but there's nothing special about this one. I just like it because it's cammo. I give it a 7 because it's not really anything groundbreaking but it does do it's simple job.

Strengths: -Cheap

Weaknesses: -Uncomfortable
Review: I got shot in the neck one day and decided it was time to get a neck protector. I bought this one because it was cheap and came in camo.

When I finally took it out to play, I found that it was uncomfortable. I think getting used to having it on will help a lot, but I've only used it a couple of times.

I did take another shot in the neck while I was playing with it on. After it hit, my neck felt slightly numb where the paintball had hit, but the feeling quickly came back. I don't know if it was a more direct hit than the first one that I had taken, but I think that it helped significantly reduce the pain that I would normally have received.
Conclusion: I found the neck protector to be uncomfortable, but as I said in my review, using it more might help in getting used to it.

Strengths: Protects your neck.
Weaknesses: Uncomfortable.
Review: It is really uncomfortable and restricts neck movement, but then again every neck protector I've ever tried on has been that way. It really doesnt feel any differrent getting hit with the neck protector than it it does without, the only major difference is when you get hit with the neck protector it usally doesnt leave a welt.
Conclusion: Its uncomfortable but it does its job.

Generic neoprene neck protector
Marker Setup: Angel Speed, Evo-II, Pure Energy 68/4500
Strengths: Large area of coverage, looks
Weaknesses: poor fitting, immobility
Review: When I ordered this item I was impressed with the design. It looked like it would form-fit and be high-speed looking.... when I tried it on, I was sorely wrong. Wearing it is like wearing a neck brace the hospitals use with about the name mobility and comfort. (zilch) If not for the text on the logo, it would be impossible to tell which way the thing is to be worn. While I give it cudos for looks, it is a terrible product for a sport where mobility is key.
Conclusion: Don't waste your money. $1.50 will get you a better one.
