The KAPP Milled Gas Block is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

Strengths:
VERY nice front block. I chewed up my old one in a vise trying to get that stupid plug out of the bottom of it for a gauge, so I ordered this KAPP one. I got the one for the Y2K and newer models and its a NICE piece. Great Anno, AND it has 2 little setscrews for your Ram and your 4-way, so they get locked down instead of using loctite or having your 4 way move around a bit.
Weaknesses:
Nothing. Very nice looking product.
Conclusion:
Well considering i had to get one because my old one was chewed up. It was well worth the money. Its not a performace piece, so im rating it on its function. It does EVERYTHING you need a front block to do, and with the addition of the setscrews goes beyond what was expected. Very nice piece. If youre bored and want a nice looking part, this is the front block you should have.
This front block is the best money can get you, hard to dent up.

This front block is a well made metal product, I own a chrome block, and it is very sterdy I have a kapp 3 way and a kapp reg setup on it, i had to replace the ram because i bent the shaft. but if i didnt do that then it would still have its kapp sto ram on it.
Over all this should be a easy choice for you.
