coiled remtes steel remotes anytype of remote
Marker Setup: I have a 2k2 cocker body with top of the line everything inside, ans gen x reg, 12 and 16in dye boomstick, and a 14 Freak, 90ci 4500psi Nitro duck. I have a Racegun Frame on the way and a Spyder Flash with a Check it products derlin bolt, cp flame drop forward and asa adapter, ans gen x reg, same nitro, and dye 16 inch boomstick
Strengths: It has a good flow the slide check is really nice when you need to get it off but don't fell like taking the pack off. it is stell and can handle higher pressures of nitro. I have one of these on my back up gun which is a EM1 Modify amd i works just fine except when it got caught on a tree. It dosen't coil so it is just out there and easy to get caught on stuff.
Weaknesses: It has got caught on things may of times where i will run up to a bunker and all of a sudden i am hooked to a branch and get shot cause i am in the middle of the field. if you are playin speedball mainly i say go for it but if woods is what you are all about get a coiled remote. I have busted the line a few times and you have to get a new one so i switched to a coiled remote that stay next to you.
Conclusion: Buy it if you play speedball and have a heavy gun nd wanna get rid of a little extra weight. Woods is deffinatly not somewhere you want to be with this remote. you will get it caught on a branch get shot and have to buy a new remote. i give it a 5 because the not being versital factor. Go with a coiled remote.

Strengths: I think that this remote kicks ass. If u are looking for a good, fairly cheap remote, this is the one. I have one with slide checks (to turn it "on" or "off")and it is an angel. I love this remote, and i would take it over a coiled any day. It cost me $35 used and I dont know why someone would give it back. This remote is long, and it can be used over the shoulder or under the armpit. I am getting an autococker and I hope that this remote will really help.
Weaknesses: This remote only has one bad thing: stiffness. That can be good, but when its hard to move around as is, it aint too good. It really sux to be caught because ur remote is stuck to something, but as long as u take notice, that shouldnt be a problem. Just dont play in a patch marked "thorn bushes" (duh!)
Conclusion: I think that this remote is well worth the cost. It is very good quality. I lost the screw cap for the CO2 but got a replacement, and losing it was my fault in the first place. I really like this and would reccommend this to anyone looking for a remote.

Marker Setup: Tippman 98
Strengths: None
Weaknesses: Poor quality, no customer support, no product support
Review: This is the first of two posts with low scores for the three remotes, two certainly from ACI that I have tested or used.

This first remote was a low cost trial product with no name sent by an internet paintball provider. It blew a non replaceable tank body O ring approximately 10 seconds after air pressure was applied. I assume this was an ACI product as when I ordered an “ACI professional remote” it had the same coil hose and tank valve as the no name. I wrote ACI to be sure I had not done something wrong and they did respond saying that they had had some valve problems.
Following the ACI approved procedure from the email I put pressure on the new ACI professional remote and it blew the same O ring in maybe 30 seconds.
Never could get a response after that even after calling several times and finally leaving a message with “product support”.
Conclusion: I will never purchase an ACI product agian

Marker Setup: Two Tippy 98 Customs ...One with Air America Apocalypse 68/4500 Nitro system , Custom Chrome AA drop forward, Psycho ballistics Double Trigger, Smart Parts 14" Progressive barrel, Ricochet 2k loader, Hogue one piece wraparound grips........Second 98c, Psycho Ballistics Double Trigger, Smart Parts 12" Progresssive barrel, 32 Degree 6 stage xchamber, ACI Remote w/ Quick Disconnect and Slide Check, 12 volt Revvy, Hogue wraparound grips, Adjustable Gas thru stock. Co2 tanks 12, 20 and 65 oz.
Strengths: This is the remote to have. The slide chech makes it nice and easy to hook or unhook the lines.
Weaknesses: The hose was a little stiff but got better once the weather warmed up and it wasnt so cold.
Conclusion: This is the best you can get. The flow is great, I have had no serious drops in velocity from using this remote system.
Buy it with the slide check and you will never have another remote hose flying around beating on you until you can close the valve. And it comes in all different colors. Shop around for prices, I paid $ 60.00 for mine at the local Pro Shop (ouch) and then seen it later on the net for like $ 45.00
