| Strengths: |
Does exactly what it says it will do. It moves your grip forward about 3 inches. Allows you to use a smaller foregrip as the grip will no longer be right next to the trigger / trigger guard. Comes in a variety of colors. Allows you to better control the gun for aiming.
I don't know why people say that it is loose. If the screw is too long, it won't thread in all the way. I bought a 1/4" coarse thread screw cap at the hardware store and screwed it in a ways further than the stock screw. Once I did that, the stock screw threaded in all of the way and mine doesn't wiggle at all. You could also shorten your stock screw a little bit with a grinder or even a file to make it fit. |

The worst thing, I'd have to say, is that the Automag is a fairly tail heavy gun. If you don't use a heavy foregrip, very little of the gun's weight will rest on the foregrip, making the gun feel somewhat odd.
I guess the stock threading is a little tight so some people complain that it is loose. If you read my good section, you'll know this can be fixed easily.
They don't make them anymore so they're hard to find and even harder to find in the color you want. |

Good product. I'm giving it a 10 since I think the screw threading isn't really an issue. |

Changes the geometry of the automag to where it is MUCH more controllable and more comfortable. I always felt my hands were cramped too close together on the standard automag foregrip location.
Looks very good considering how it has to mount on the automag rail.

Mine came with a mounting screw, but would wiggle when mounted.
Some modifications are in order to make it totally secure.

Get one while you can. I bought mine on 08-15-02 and was told they have been discontinued. The shop I bought from only had the chrome ones left. |

It moves the foregrip a couple of inches forward, which may not sound like much, but believe me it's a big improvement over the standard mag configuration! Having the foregrip positioned farther forward allows you to spread your arms and shoulders more, which gives you more control. I'm a big guy, so it helps me a lot . Before I got this I barely even used my foregrip at all, but now it actually does something for my aim. It looks really cool too. |

It doesn't come with a screw! I managed to find one that works, but I had to grind it down so it didn't scratch my barrel. Not a serious problem, but it was annoying. |

I think this is an awesome product. It makes my mag more comfortable to use and helps my aim. I'd reccomend this especially to any tall or broad-shouldered mag users out there, but anybody would benefit from putting one on their mag. Make sure you have the right screw though. |

It was easy to install, and is a very strong product. It moved my foregrip forward, and which allowed a bigger drop forward. Now my automag is balanced better.
Having the forgrip more forward puts my arm is in a better postion for greater control and comfort. |

It doesn't want to tighten down all the way to the body rail. This gives some movement but not much.
Didn't come with a screw. It was hard to find a screw that would work, and it doesn't look good. This has nothing to do with the problem above.

It's a great improve in comfort and control for me. I knew I had to get, when I held the gun and it just felt wrong having my hands that close together.
It was a cheap upgrade for me, just wish it came with a screw. |
